We had bad storms this afternoon!

It came in suddenly, and the oldest two kids were outside catching the young birds and putting them in their coop. ( They had been free ranging). The wind was sooo strong that the trees in our back yard were bending to the ground and it was picking up STUFF into the air! I screamed for the kids to get in the house (we thought there might be a funnel somewhere it was that nasty!) and they were upset that they missed my beautiful BLRW cockerel (you know, the pretty one) and a Salmon Fav roo. I told them they were more important than two chickens and to just GET.

They got, and after the worst of the wind was over E and I went out and found the two birds they missed and put them in the coop. Both were OK. :) But more importantly, so were my kids!

We lost power twice. Just for a few minutes each time.

I hope there weren't too many of my bees out when the storm hit! :/

I so can't wait for Friday! We're going to Rogers and meeting up with Pamspride and we'll see emilosevich WHOOT WHOOT! AND probably keljonma WHOOT WHOOT!!

And we're NOT BUYING MORE CHICKENS WE'RE SELLING CHICKENS WHOOT WHOOT.

and I'm drinking my five millionth glass of water for the day!

well of course not, silly :p you know my name, and I know yours - if the others want to give you their name when they meet you, that's up to them!

That was a DOOZY of a storm! I am glad to hear that your children and your chickens are fine. We didn't lose power here at all, thank God.

Your bees would have been aware of the storm way before you and were probably indoors. :D

It's a beautiful morning!

Birds are singing!

last egg in 'bator hatched last night (finally!) It's a call duck - from the last egg I had from the two pairs I shipped to Florida! Might keep him/her as a pet :D

Found a recipe to make fry pies - who needs to buy them from the Amish, I can make them myself! :D

Also making fudge this week. :drool Apple and Pumpkin pies, and have tiny pie pans so may make a few tiny pies.

Hope to also take a few bags of our GREEN BEANS! that are all ready and desperately need picking! Already picked, cooked, and ate a bunch! Same with Zukes and Squash!

Was double checking the regulations for Rogers, as I'm hoping to take the baked goods to their eggs and produce Auction on Friday :)

Getting all the stuff today to make Labels of ingredients. If I can't put them in at Rogers, I know I can take them to Carrollton. Will bribe my FIL with a pie if I have to for a way there! :D

Happy Tuesday everyone!

I can't believe they stole your calf....geesh, the nerve of some people.

When I was preggers with DS I worked at Hooters and I used to yell at my customers that "I am waddling as fast as I can go, okay!"

I hated that part of my pregnancies....I always felt like I had a bowling ball in between my legs when i tried to walk

What a great day!

Dr. said everything looks great! C-section is scheduled for September 19 at 7:30 am! :) Means I have to be at the hospital by 5:30 am YUCK!

Baby girl did NOT want her heart listened to today! lol every time my Dr found her to listen, she moved away! Finally my Dr. gets a good bead on her and says that's a good heartbeat and baby girl goes THUMP with what looked like a FIST right against the doppler! I told my Dr, "She's saying 'get off me'! " My dr laughed and agreed, yes she sure is saying that!

I also got a "Third trimester goodie bag" from the Dr.'s office. How cool! It has two little travel bottle bags, 3 two oz bottles of formula, bottle nipple, and some formula (big box and samples). I'm a breast feeding mom, but I do keep a bottle on hand and some formula incase of an emergency (i.e. E is home with baby and runs out of pumped milk).

Then it was off for some shopping and GUESS WHAT?! Our mall has the COOLEST Kitchen Gadgets store!!!!!! I got a perogie press and a pie crust crimper! I was so excited! Becca's mom was with me, and we agreed that it was a dangerous store for the both of us! They had WONDEROUS cake pans! One shaped like a butterfly (I want it!), another shaped like a tractor (I want it!), and one shaped like a train! (yes, you guessed it, I want it, too!) I saw a bunt pan that I'd also love to have - so I think if my baked goods do well, I may have to treat myself to a special cake pan!

Whoot!!

Best part of the day - I get home and my hubs is making FRIED CHICKEN for our dinner! :love Goodness but I love this man! He's such a sweetie! (when he wants to be LOL)

So I'm making the mashed taters and green beans to go with it - and going to enjoy my yummo fried chicken that my hubs made! WHOOT!!

I try to stay away from the neat little kitchen store in our mall..... and the one in Chagrin Falls! Oh my goodness, I know what you mean, it is just like being a kid in a candy shop.

Glad to hear the doctor visit went well.

whew! I'm almost sick of looking at cookies!!

Today I made chocolate chip, snickerdoodles, peanut butter cookies, and am currently baking cut out sugar cookies. I conked out on the cutting out part, though, and let DD have fun with the biscuit cutter :p

Still plan to make chocolate, monster, and no bake cookies yet tonight :D LOTS of baking.

Tomorrow I'm baking pies, and trying my hand at making Fry Pies. :D REALLY excited about that!

I certainly hope Roger's is ready for me come Friday, because I'm baking A LOT! :D

Plan to make a plain white icing for the sugar cookies, can't take plain cut out cookies now, can we?
