Oh, good laugh! Aristotle is probably pretty close to right. :D

Oh, and on the subject of fighting dogs- we will NEVER have 2 females again! I had 4 labs, 2males, 2 females and things weren't too bad. There was the ocasional squabble, but we now have 2 female Jack Russells. Disaster. They were OK for about a year and one of them must have said something wrong to the other one and now they are out for blood at all times. They live in entirely separate regions of the house. Not ideal, but my SO is not good about re-homing animals! Looking back on it maybe a boy dog would have been a better choice. We also probably won't have JRTs again- they are very opinionated dogs.

I don't know if it is just jack russel terriers that have that issue, it is just dogs in general and pit bulls in particular. I've seen more problem with two pits together than any other issue with pit bulls except homelessness. But I know what you are talking about Valmom, we had two ridgebacks at one point who hated each other and could not occupy the same part of the house. I could only tolerate it for six months.....heh, I realize it is the Story of Gracie....so I'll tell it. She has a rather amazing one. One of my best.

But before I do that, I'm still waiting on Fat Liver. We are trying to get a flight scheduled and I think they are shooting for Saturday. He is what you call a "ridgeless" so he kind of looks like a generic dog unless you know ridgebacks and then it jumps right out at you what he is. Without a ridge, they are just big shorthaired brown dogs that are kinda good looking but you wonder what they are, like maybe a long-tailed large vizla.

OFG until Fat Liver gets here, Dee Dee would be happy to play with Kai and work off some fat, never a shortage of fatness here, but she is officially the Fat Wheaten.
