So after our ride this morning a friend from town came out. Her mom is moving to a care facility and was renting the hose she's been staying in. She's healthy but apparently can't really be on her own anymore. So yeah. Anyway.

The property owner didn't want all the plants left in the yard so I'm fixing to head to town and pick up what's useable. I hear there's a large black raspberry patch and some other stuff. I'm going to try to save what I can and plant them here.

I'll fill y'all in on the haul once we have them in the ground again.

Was really hoping to nurse this hangover. But. No rest for the wicked.

Well there weren't many that were saveable. It looked like it hadn't been pruned in years. It was all overgrown with vines and was just nasty. So I was only able to kind of save 3 plants. And even those lost a lot of the root when I du

Extra water and TLC for a few days and they'll hopefully be o.k.

So, how are they doing today, CJ. Think they will make it through the shock?

Very true Bay.

Sumi how much extra water would you recommend? I've read that raspberries normally like an inch to 3 inches a week. How much more should I be giving them right now?
