Molly jumped up on the bed last night and did not get chased off! More progress. Gonna need a king size bed for sure! Barn dog, my butt!

Today I made laundrey soap and then Pomegranite Choc. Chip Oatmeal Cookies. I used less flour and more corn meal and 1/3 of the sugar since it had choc. chips. Mmmmm!!! Cooking french fries to go with chili dogs w/slaw for dinner.

It was 36 degrees a few minutes ago. No way it got up to 50 today, probably not 45. Actually 40 was the most I saw on my thermometer. It sleeted a little this moring when I took the pups out--good thing we are in the Deep South! LOL

Beautiful new addition you have there. I have a pit bull and a mini schnauzer. They get along great. Beaux (my pit) is def the boss, but little Ricky doesn't put up with any crap from him and is not afraid of him, so it works out great. I wouldn't worry too much about her with the little ones. After a week or two, once they all realize they are a pack, they'll be fine. We had Beaux for 2 yrs when Ricky wandered up to our front door..........literally............I opened the front door and there he was looking up at me, a tiny little schnauzer. He was stinky, wet and matted. Beaux is pretty dog aggressive, but it just took a few days for him to except Ricky. What I find strange is that even though he is dog aggressive, Beaux likes puppies (not talking about Ricky here, he wasn't a puppy. I just mean in general). I find that to be pretty weird. My mastiff Franklin was like that too. I guess they know it's just a baby. As for the gas, yeah we have that problem too. Food does not seem to make a difference.

As of this evening, Lucee (mini schnauzer)is still the boss! Buddy is at the bottom of the totem pole. Both girls boss him around! The funny thing with Molly is she is too long to turn around in the hall, she has to reverse! i'm so glad you rescued your little schnauzer! I do love that breed!

Haven't heard any more about the house.

pretty mellow day today. I sliced and cooked breakfast potatoes for the week. The processor slicing blade will be wonderful for items going in the dehydrator! Went to the laundymat and then baked chicken for dinner.

Unfortunately, we never heard back about the legal paper for the house so it may have been a false glimmer of hope. I can't get to any of my Christmas stuff and I love decorating so I have determined that if I am still alive next year, I will definitely make up for doing nothing this year. Gives me a little something to look forward to. Not doing any Christmas stuff is really depressing to me and waiting on this house is enough. So I'm done whining now and will get over it as much as possible.

I haven't done any decorating this year either. Still debating on whether to mess with it or not.

I've never had a schnauzer until now, and
I'll tell you, he is a hand full, but I just love him. He has such a happy bouncy personality. I am not a small dog kinda person. I consider Beaux to be a small dog and he weighs 70lbs, but I am enjoying this 19lbs little guy very much.

Dreaming of Chickens--They do have a fierce and wonderful personality, don't they? I hang out and get questions answered at schnauzerlover.com/forum/ I hope I can do this since it is not an SS forum.

Hint: You can eat all the jellies except the colors you need. Brrrp!!!!!!

Gotta go pick up dry dog food later at the feed store. I hope to stop at the salvage grocery while we are in that town.
