Mine is spayed. She only tries to dominate the goats and chickens now. She herds them. We let her have that job. :hu She's helpful with the goats, but hillarious herding chickens :p

Nice dog you found! We are into boxers and find they get gassy on anything except lamb and rice. You might want to try it, it has worked for us every time.

We give them all Premium Edge-- lamb, rice and vegetables. It's not cheap! I wonder if she hasn't eaten trash for so long her system doesn't function well yet. Or like Wannabefree said--it's the bully in her!

I do hope spaying her will make a difference. We will keep working on it anyway!

Herding chickens sounds like herding cats!

Hmmm, could be that she needs a good deworming, and has to get used to good food again like you say. No matter what though a wormer won't hurt

I've already got the worm pill. Gotta find out about the spaying and a rabies shot. What I hate to see is that every time one of us touches her, she flinches.

This morning I have a big pot of turkey soup on the stove. I'm gonna make french fries in my new processor and freeze some, then shred and cook some potatoes for breakfasts, then shred some cabbage and make slaw.

It's rainy and gonna get cooler this evening so we will all be in the trailer. Yikes! Have a great day everyone!!!!!!!

Snap she may just be nervous too and uncomfortable in your home right now. My dog sometimes will flinch if she is touched and not expecting it, and she was born here in this house...never ever abused..she's just naturally nervous for some reason. Hopefully that is the case with your girl too :( I'd hate to think she was abused.

Turkey soup sounds goooooooood :drool

I just figured that dumped by the side of the road = abused. Maybe not. Things are progressing slowly. Now we can all be in the same room (very small) and not hold on to any of them. Not all the time but it has happened. Schnauzer Lucee has gone from being aggressive to being scared of Molly. Molly still going to work with DH.

I got to use my processor yesterday for making lots of french fries, shredded hashbrowns and shredding cabbage (free) for slaw. I love that thing! Today I am making the slaw, making laundrey soap and making some Christmas ornaments. That actually sounds like a fun day! I'll post photos later.

It'll take a while to build her trust, but once you do, IME, there is no breed more loyal and loving than a big ole mushy gushy bully :)

I need to go get me that processor!!! I am trying to be good and wait for Christmas, but you aren't making it very easy  Who woulda thought you could have french fry envy

These are what I was making today. They are cute but didn't hold together like I thought they should. Once they dried and were brittle, they broke apart. Tomorrow I may try some jelly bean type ornaments (unless I eat all the jellies first).

This morning I made cole slaw from yesterdays shredded cabbage and still have to make laundrey soap this afternoon.

The pack is still adjusting. It's just gonna take time. Lucee is still acting slighted!
