The birdseed wreath is beautiful!! Those would be so cute to make for little Christmas presents for bird lovin' folks... a person could even place cranberries in it for Christmas color. Thanks for the link, Snapshot. I wonder if one could make it with BOSS and give it to chicken folks for Christmas also..... hmmmmmm....gets the wheels aturnin'. :D
I think it would look fantastic made with BOSS! And if you had the patience to apply each seed individually it would look REALLY cool! :ep

Chickens probably have more sense than the birds in this area! Stupid birds or squirrels haven't spotted it yet and it aint hard to see! If it sits untouched mudh longer I will give it to my sister in law. Maybe the birds in Louisiana are smarter than ours!

Buddy has been ok today. Guess we just have to keep an eye on him as much as possible. And now we can look at single wides--16 or 18 X 60 or so. We will add a porch so it looks more like a house. I'm spending lots of time on the phone!

Oh yes, cranberries sound good to add! I bet you could make it with any seeds or grain even as long as you used the same "glue"!

The birds will find it, there is just too much fresh forage right now for them to be very interested.

Love the wreath! I'm going to have to add the directions for that to the list of treats I made for the nature center years ago.

We're off to spend Easter morning at the ranch feeding the cows. Got my camera battery charged! Then we will go visit a new friend who had surgery and needs some help with fencing and other stuff. She has goats!

After that home to cook a dinner of honey and spice baked chicken, a hash brown potato dish, Marinated and sauteed veggies and cinnamon scalloped apples. Oh, and those little tomatoes with bacon and cream cheese stuffed in them for an appetizer. We will take some diner up to the park manager who lives by herself.

Buddy is back on his meds for the Valley Fever which is what we suspect is behind his seizures. He goes in for a titer Monday to see where he is at.

On the homefront, now that the fence is finished (except across the front), we are waiting on the County workers to come put in the culvert for the driveway. They have been out once (which I take as a good sign) and will hopefully do it next week. For me, this is like watching paint dry! In a really humid climate!

Still think we have stupid birds. The wreath is untouched and in FL it would not have lasted one day!

Happy Easter to you all!!!!!!!!!!

Lets hope the birds finally figure it out! I had a Pileated Woodpecker at my bird feeder the other day! Love them, they are so prehistoric looking, and huge! Didn't think I'd have any, because I've been slacking on keeping their favorite suet out there, but DH must've snuck some out for me! :love

The County put in the culvert today!!!!! Now waiting on whatever the next step is. I have been looking for a mobile or manufactured home but with the parameters dh has given me it is not going well. Less than 15,000 for a fixer upper or foreclosed doublewide or 16x60 or so. In FL I could find them all day long but not here. Still looking every day though.

Buddy got his titer today but it may be a week or more before I know any answers. They don't deal with Valley Fever here and don't know where to send it (or how much to charge us). He is doing well now that he is back on meds but his appetite is still lacking.

I seem to be just taking it easy this week. Not sure why. Perhaps considering the future will have few breaks! I am sure thankful to have you all to talk to! The dogs are a great audience but I like feedback!!!!

Stupid, stupid birds!
