Beginning today!!!!!!!! DH is putting up fencing around the perimeter of our little homeplace!!! I say little as it is only 135 ft. by 155 ft. Not as big as we thought originally, pretty much just a medium size lot, but after walking around it-we can see the homestead. It is smaller because of the downslope in the back but still plenty of room for an 18 x 80 man. home, the outbuilding, a 20 x 30 garden (my first garden so I don't want to overdo it), a coop for 8 - 10 chickens, a clothesline and a pen for a couple of goats. We will have plenty of brush for the goats from BILs ranch. If I want more garden room I will do borders around the house and outbuilding. Probably getting a couple of loud guinea keets too.

Still have no idea what we will be living in so that adds more mystery to the adventure! Up side is that since we are already on BILs land, when he thinks we need more room, he will just move the fenceline.

In daily news, we got our new awning up (old one torn off in tornado several months ago)! This makes such a difference in the temp of the trailer without the sun beating directly on the side!
Also continuing to organize closets and cabinets to make moving out easier (and to keep me busy).
This eve. I am making a bird seed wreath and will post a photo tomorrow.

I will take photos of (the fence?) area of the homestead the next time I get out there! I'm so glad we are finally getting started!

Can't say I blame you for that! My yard is 100 x 220, and I have my garden area-32x52, my clothes umbrella (takes up less space than a regular clothes line), hubby's shed, my green house, hay shelter, our house, a small pool, the goats and I did have some chickens here. And, that's in spite of having about 100 trees on the property!

Yay for a step (or should I say fence) in the right direction! :D
And double yay!!! Fencing should be finished Monday. Not sure what happens next exactly. Should have to do with the outbuilding or the well I think.

As of yesterday the fencing is finished and we are looking for a 28X56 or so doublewide to put on the lot! I've been spending time on the phone and internet!

Today was a little rough!
Buddy had a second seizure today. It did not get as far or bad as the first one. It happened right after his tubby. Must have started while I was straightening up in the bathroom. When I walked out he was sitting hunched over, staring straight ahead and peeing. He did jump up on the couch and I put the ice pack on him right away. He just sat there staring ahead. After cooling him a bit I took him outside (on leash) and he was walking a little stiffly and still looking straight ahead. He did his business and then seemed like he could see around him. Not sure if he was kinda blind for a bit or what. We came back in and I used the ice pack again for a little while and then he seemed fine.

After his tubby he gets excited and trying to dry off by sliding along the couch so I don't know if that triggered it or not. I am just so glad he did not stop breathing or start screaming!!! I didn't realize that I was even stressed until DH called and I broke down crying. I just did what I had to do to get him through it. If anyone has any advice or input, I would love to hear it. He is fine this evening and so am I!

And here is the promised Bird Seed Wreath and link!

I found the bundt pan at a thrift shop for 50 cents. Now if I can learn to tie a fancy bow...

:hugs Poor little guy! Wish I could help, but I've never dealt with seizures. I just feel so bad for him, and you! :hugs

Good luck on the doublewide hunt!

Ahh I am sorry for Buddy, thank goodness he has you to take such good care of him. He is a lucky dog. Hope you find your Double wide really soon. Love the wreath. I wonder if chickens would like one? might be good entertainment for them

The birdseed wreath is beautiful!! Those would be so cute to make for little Christmas presents for bird lovin' folks... a person could even place cranberries in it for Christmas color. Thanks for the link, Snapshot. I wonder if one could make it with BOSS and give it to chicken folks for Christmas also..... hmmmmmm....gets the wheels aturnin'. :D
