I didn't know the sequence, but I knew how to take the thing apart and put it back together again in the correct order. No need to remove stickers.

It's not hard to find a solution online. Solve it layer by layer -- top, middle, bottom. Keep in mind that the center squares never change, so work on matching those. Good luck!
