Heck, I'd just like 4 big men to show up! I could get a whole lot done around here if I had some help. Just gimme one day with 4 strong guys - it would be a game changer! (really glad DH doesn't read this or I might have some 'splaining to do!)

So,..... I have to laugh. Communication between husband/wife, northerners vs southerners.

Wife is mixing the spices for the apple butter. Out of brown sugar, okay need to run to the store.

Me: do we need anything else
W: i need to order vanilla.
M: do I need to get more from the store?
W: I don't think so?
M: do you have enough for the recipe.
W: it needs a teaspoon
M: do you have enough?
W: it needs a teaspoon
M: do I need to pick some up at the store?
W: I will order some
M: do you have enough for the recipe
W: let me double check
M: *waited 5 munutes*.....and?
W: oh, we're good.

Forget pre wedding marriage counseling. A couple needs to try weekend cooking projects for compatibility. LOLOLOL

Back to the 9-5 work grind.

Whelp, I put the jerky in too long. I am glad I only put in half. I have 4 pounds of crispy beef jerky bacon.

We had a miscommunication on the operation of the instapot, enhanced by two random, independent naps. The apple butter tastes burnt to me. It is a lovely dark brown, though.

The coffee this morning is helping cope.

Happy Monday--back to the 'office' for me. Long day of training and with both kids home, will feel any longer. My list of stuff to do for the home is never ending, but knowing that I am blessed and alive is a good way to manage.

Happy Monday! My dad is here staying to help out while I try to figure out why I keep falling down. Making an appointment with an ENT after @baymule suggested it. I’m on self bed rest and only baths until I can quit slipping. Babies are still huge and wiggly!
