Good morning everyone! Got to get going here in a few, got to go to the feed store today. The one I like is about 45 minutes away, then back to the post office, my PO Box is locked. It seems the rent on it was due the end of September, I was not thinking about the PO Box then. At 11;30, 2 real estate agents are coming to give me a price on what they would list the farm for, pointers on what I need to do to make it show well, etc. Busy morning!

I wish you luck! I have to shower this morning. The chickens got some pumpkin guts this morning. The cows will get the bigger chunks of pumpkins from the carving party. The ducks are cold this morning and I don’t blame them. 54* and DARK. Dad helped me out of bed this morning. Shower with him outside the door, then back to the couch for the rest of the day.

Yes I know… it’s starting to scare me and impact my daily life. I fell down picking up dog bowls yesterday. And cleaning duck water. 😕

Very true 🤣🤣. Almost fell in the shower this morning. Thankfully the floor didn’t get the chance to catch me 😂😂
I laughing with you because I fall a lot. Its all fun and games until you hit your head. 😬 I use a wheelchair at times and have a service dog that prevents falls and helps me recover from them.

i've been awake for a few hours but i still don't feel awake at all. yesterday i was gardening and dealing with a digestive problem so i feel a bit wrung out today. i slept good though so that is a bonus. we'll be mowing today, at least it is cooler outside and perhaps this will be the last time we have to mow. temperatures are heading down into the mid-30s this coming week so frost is not far behind. we're going for a very long season here in terms of time without frosts. sometimes we'll get frost in mid-September.

i just finished getting the North Garden changed around and ready for winter. yesterday i weeded the north edge along the grassy area (it doesn't get seen much by me i hardly ever go over that ways) and moved some dirt back uphill and then transplanted more thyme to help fill it in and protect it from the weather. i'm not sure how well this thyme will work compared to what i already have over there but i ran out of transplant stock so this was it if i wanted to get it moved and started. next year if this kind doesn't work as well i'll have more to use.

so i'll get on to putting up the rest of the gardens for the next few weeks as the weather allows, get some garlic planted and call it a season.

always bean shelling and sorting to do when the weather isn't that good out there. :)
