We just got 15 Cornish Cross chickens on ice. Tired. It will probably take a couple of days to get them processed. I’m gross and need a shower. I look like I was a part of the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Eeeeww!

Had a shower, feel much better. Having leftover iced coffee with sugar and cream. Then I need a nap. Lol

We’ve been up before 5 the past week, slept until 7 this morning. I’ve drank coffee, caught up on BYH and just generally wasted time relaxing.
15 chickens are calling my name, need to do chores first, got a cookie sheet of now ripe plums to cook down and mash through a strainer, then put juice in refrigerator until I can get to it to make jam. Freezer is starting to stack up on chicken parts I need to can for the dogs, need that done so I can have the freezer room. Need to finish cleaning up outside, clear clutter off porch, get back in the garden, ummmm….. want to build a new chicken coop and have some short log pieces that need peeling with my new drawing knife. Almost forgot, got to work sheep next week, dose all with Garlic Barrier, take fecal samples for microscope scrutiny, trim feet and use my new hand shears to clip 3 very poor shedders. I think I might be busy for awhile……..

The front door just slammed. It was my tired A$$ dragging in from yesterday. Oh well, I’ll bundle it up, stuff it in my blue jeans and go do chores. Took last drink of coffee, time to get the day started.
