Aww, thanks WBF! FIL went in emerg new years day with Pneumonia...turned into influenza A...not good news. His bowls started failing, kidneys failed, stopped eating, was put in ICU with a picline to his heart 2 days ago, wasn't looking good at all. But today he is out of ICU and seems to be bouncing back. Things change so fast with him it is hard to know. One thing about it, MIL is havng a break with only herself to take care of with her broken arm...It has been a roller coaster couple of weeks I tell ya!

Goodness! Well, the Lord works in mysterious ways. Sounds like FIL is a tough cookie, and MIL too, of course ;) I have always believed there is a reason for everything...maybe there is a reason he is ill at this time, and more able bodied folks are taking care of him. Bless his heart though...it has to be tough on them mentally. :hugs to the lot of ya! We'll keep praying!!! I can imagine it's pretty rough for all of you right now.

It has been rough on my husband more than any of us, and MIL of course. They have been running back and forth to the hospital. I haven't gone yet to see him, don't want to risk bringing anything home for Lolaa at this point, and I really strongly do not like hospitals. FIL has been down this same road a few times before in the last year, they never think he is going to pull through but by God's grace he does! He is a very strong yet very frail man, and a very good man. Yes, there is a reason for everything, and God always has a plan. Thanks so much for keeping the family in your prayers

Okay, your DH is added to the prayer list as well  Poor guy...hospitalization is hard on everyone! I truly hate those places too :hide My step grandad just got out of the hospital as well, and I know how tough it can be for the family. My grandma was MAD when he had to go to extended care facility rather than home. So was he, but grandma threw a fit! She's a little fireball ;) So, I'm kind of right there on the sidelines with ya sister! Hopefully it will all smooth out and be somewhat normal again soon though. God willing!

Ohhh no! I will be keeping your family in my prayer as well. Christmas seems to be so hard on the elderly these days...so much bustle and they have a hard time dealing with it. Don't you just love fireball grandmothers :) I hope I am just like that! LOL!
