I do it sometimes, but I dont find myself 'evil'. Such as this: last year, my math teacher was pregnant, and about the first of May, I told her she wouldnt be here tomorrow, her baby is coming early. I meant it too. Her water broke at 7:30 the next morning. It wasnt due until the 27th.

Ive done other things too but thats my big one. I dont consider it a curse, or gift. Just something I suppose.

That is 'just something' you're right. It's when you try to expand it or start thinking your special because of it that you run into trouble.

Daniel was a saved man with a true dedication to God, his gift was directly given by God...kind of like God will sometimes get me to make a quilt for a stranger, and it comes to me in bits and spurts, but it is His design and it suits the stranger perfectly and Blessed them. All fortune tellers believe thier 'gift' is from God, but it isn't. My grandmother was a professed Christian but used to read cards and tealeaves...telling ones fortune is totally against Biblical rules.
Satan also poses as the angle of light...we have to be very very careful where we go.
Remember the Sunday school songs "Be careful little eyes what you see, be careful little ears what you hear...'
Anyway my family and I went through a nightmare...all because I saw the wrong thing as a 'gift' Such a nightmare that I will not talk about it.
I don't believe all are gifts, and I don't believe all aren't. We are directed to "test the spirits" by Paul. I started having dreams and such too at one point not long ago, that came true, freaked me out!! I prayed about it. Asked God to take it away if it was not of Him. It went away immediately. I haven't had another dream to come true. I still have freaky weird dreams, but not like that lol! My brother OTOH has had this for years and years. He is a professing Christian as well. I can't judge...dunno if his is of God or not, but I do know he is very often right on the money. He "feels" things too. Certain places, certain people. I have learned that when he says lets go, it's time to leave. Beyond that, I have no idea where he is as far as his salvation. I do think that pastor should have had more tact with a twelve year old boy. It has really hurt my brother over the years. He doesn't often attend church due to that. :(

Its more like broodiness in chickens. Some have the inclination and genetics too, and wear it out. Others have the inclination and genetics but dont. Appropriate for the forum I think :p

I have done that too, never really thought much of it. Dreams always have freaked me out. I was afraid to go to sleep when i was a kid and would fight it to the point of exhaustion  Yeah, expanding on "gifts" is not too bright me thinks. A gift is just that, nothing more IMO.

I thought of that too. Gifts of the spirit are intriguing.

Oh I get totally creeped out by certain people, often strangers. Get the urge to bolt to anywhere away from them. Gives me the heebie geebies. I have only got that feeling a few times, but ugh it's awful! All I have to do is catch a glimpse of someone like that :hide

Discernment is a gift of the spirit.and it sounds like you may have that gift. The Lord does often let us know when to get away from a person or situation if you are in tuned to listeneing to Him when He prompts.
Psychic gifts are different than that, and they somehow lead you to dig deeper, to seek things out of curiousity. Like seeing a ghost, and becoming intrigued by it...somehow the thing grows into a 'spirit guide' and starts talking to you, telling you things...then it introduces you to more ghosts, more dangerous spirits...it happens, trust me...
