I know I made it sound really selfish. I didnt mean it that way. I can do without money to get stuff I want. Even without my coffee or quail, or gas to go places. Either way He has kept us and those things aren't necessary. I try to thank Him everyday for everything, but it's really starting to sound forced. Lol. I don't want to be like the Israelites who wandered 40 years because of their whining and being uncontent with what they were given.
You didn't sound selfish to me! And we all get into a **** now and again, and it never feels very good when we do...and it is always so hard to keep on track and trust Him when we do:) And i have to be the first to admit...if i didn't have my coffee this morning....YIKES! YES it is very important LOL!

Rebecca, we all go thru times like that. I was looking at the sky the other day. It was cloudy and I couldn't see the sun. Then I thought to myself, even though I can't see the sun, it's still there. And it reminded me that, even when our problems seem ready to overcome us, and we cannot see the face of God, nor feel His hand, He's still there, caring for us.

Lately I've been having to force myself to set aside a time for prayer. While I pray throughout the day, it's often hit or miss, and normally just for my own needs, wants and desires. So, I've started to set this time aside. Right now I'll admit. It feels forced. But, in just the short period of time that I've started to do this, I've started to notice a difference in my prayers. And, as my prayers change, I change. One thing I have been doing is asking God to bind Satan. The Bible tells us to submit ourselves to God, then resist the Devil, and he will flee from us. Next time you pray, try asking God to bind Satan. When you feel most discouraged, try singing something about the name of Jesus, or something about the joy we have in God. You'd be amazed at the difference this can make.

Oh y'all when Satan can't get at you one way, he chooses another route. I think I have a big bulls eye on me. Once again I'm laying it at His feet and trusting Him for the outcome!
