Having never carried a child...I have no clue other than they always say walking will induce labor :hu

I was just going to say tell her to go for a walk! W/DD, my water broke, but that was it. They made me walk and walk and walk all around the hospital halls.

Tell her to make some plans to go somewhere or to do something important....the baby will surely come right before she has to go. :D

All three of mine were induced, so I didn't get to do the whole going into labor thingy....I think it would be kind of nice to get to work up to the hard stuff gradually.

LoL...I told her to unpack her bag...mess up her house...and get totally unprepared and it would happen a few minutes after that very quickly! You are so right Bee!

Went to docs this morning..nope we're not grandparents yet Bee:) But he did say that it is immenant and that if she feels anything different to get to the hospital quickly and don't second guess herself...we have fast deliveries in our family...I had Kat with just two labour pains and a push. All in 15 minutes from losing my plug...so who knows LOL! And she has all the signs...

WOW! What a blessing! I can't imagine having babies that easy....I'd have had a whole houseful if I had. Maybe that's why God made my deliveries so incredibly painful! :D I loved the pregnancies and they were wonderful, not a hitch, not a bit uncomfortable...but the deliveries felt like an elephant was standing on my stomach and wouldn't get off.

They say shorter deliveries are more shocking and harder on the body, but I don't believe it at all. i felt wonderful right after delivery...wanted to go for a long walk...but no one would let me LOL! For me, my labours were a blessing for sure. Her first one was a 3 our labour...maybe an hour of hard contractions...the same as my first labour. She was my second labour and it doesn't get any easier than that. I have been keeping my eye on her. If she gets that bewildered 'doe in the headlights look" going on, she is going in!
