I agree. Every time I mention I think it will happen sooner than folks think, someone in the secular world throws those punch lines.....line up for the Kool-Aid, sell all your stuff and go stand on a mountain and wait, etc.

The Christians are not the only people noticing deep changes in the world and it's making people nervous. Their reactions and lashing out at the Christian population and our prophecies seem like much whistling in the dark to me.

I live in Tennessee. We had the same thing happen here almost a year ago. They think they were dying because of contact electrocution on the power lines.
I know but this is worldwide. Its strange really.
I think it's more common than the media let's on like it is. The End Times theories and oddball occurences are spectator draws right now with our economy in a rut, and the current political back drop is helping fuel the fire. Then you have these folks declaring that such and such is the day...I actually SEE a church sign on the way to work that says "May 21st 2011 The Lord is coming back!" and that really bothers me. First that folks actually believe it, and then that some folks look at that like all Christians are looney when that day passes and the sun rises on the next one *sigh*
Could not have said it better. 200 years ago news travelled by sailing ship and horseback, 100 years ago by telegragh, 50 years ago by radio, 20 years ago by e-mail and cable, now we have internet-enabled cell phones where the man on the street can generate a news story instantly.

The day is from some group on the West coast. On his radio show earlier this week, Micheal Medved was interviewing the head guy of the group.

I *really* don't want to get into this topic any deeper.

I've noticed this too.

Well all I can say to the Christians who believe the time is near...is get busy talking, not about the world ending, but TO whoever you are talking to in your life TODAY that is lost, so that they can find salvation before it's too late. I have to say, it hurts to think of how many will be left behind, so if we think it's close, we better do our job that we were called to do, or their blood is on our hands.

A different kind of harvest, a different kind of prepping....all our efforts need to be bent upon it, as it is the real preparation for TEOTWAWKI scenarios.

Yeah I missed an opportunity today, because I was in my own little world. An electrical wire blew and sparks went all over me. Then a few minutes later the man who cut the wire said "You just experienced the "Big Bang Theory" that's how it happened...BOOM" and I just kind of laughed it off, then it dawned on me what he meant  :he So I totally let that one fly over my head and out of reach! Any other time I would have come right back at him with "I believe in creation, not explosions and accidental humanity." but..........guess I was too traumatized from my "fire shower." It really hurt my ear! Was LOUD! :hide

1 Thessalonians 4:17:

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
I don't know about ya'll, but I don't plan to be here :D
