The only thing I can think of is to get people to look it up so they know how to be saved.

Great idea conceived by a sad and sick individual, it seems. Since he is now in jail, I would guess that there are still people using this method of "getting the word out" at major media events.

Who knows how many people saw it, looked it up and actually applied it due to something this strange man started.....the Lord can turn anything around for the good, can't he?

Yep, He's promised that His word will not return unto Him void.

Here's a thing that I encounter quite frequently in my line of work. As a hospice nurse, I have many patients who are afraid to die. Surprisingly enough, most of them profess they are Christians. Are you folks scared to die?

Do you believe that, when you die, you will no longer be alive? From what I have studied you will be more alive than you are presently and in such a way as to be far more enriching than our life here as we know it. We will have new bodies that are not subject to the frailities of being merely human. Imagine rising in the morning to have boundless energy and strength!

Do you think that is why so many are scared to die? Do they feel like existence in Heaven, after life on Earth, will be pale in comparison?

I think a lot of it depends on your relationship w/God. If you haven't been living the life that you should, you fear death because, while you "know" you'll be w/God, you're so bound up w/the life that you have now, you don't really realize how much better it will be in heaven.

I'm not afraid to die. I'm a bit uncomfortable with the actual moment and process, but that is my flesh side. The spiritual side is ready to go  I wouldn't call it a fear though...more like a mild dread of the probability of fleshly discomfort involved. I don't look forward to pain...ever. Who really does?! When that time comes...I just hope it is quick and not long and drawn out. So no, not really "afraid" but not exactly looking forward to not being able to breathe...it's all I know...or maybe rather all I remember. :hu
