Good Morning G!!

Your husband is much smarter than that isn't he? I remember how worried you once were over his job, and his dad left him before didn't he?

I envy you for your seasons, be sure to post some green pictures!!

The rain was awesome wasn't it?

I am not even sure what to say about your Hubby and the job situation.....I guess if he does decide to work with his dad again he should get everything in writing...thru a lawyer.

I am so jealous that you are starting seeds....I think about it everyday! I have been so tempted to go buy some seeds to start but all I have are containers and I suck at container gardening!

Have fun with your new starts....I just love seeing those first little sprouts push thru the soil! :weee

Sigh, seeds......
Anyway, sorry about your shoulder. Yesterday it was my hip. Too many hours sitting on the school bleachers I think. Owie!
I hope your DH thinks any big decisions through!!!

Thanks you guys.

Karen, Your never lazy. Always on the go. What work do you have? Are you still selling eggs?

MP, I will find some pics for you.

FF, I know I should take it easy but I need to at least do the basics. I started my day early and took some Motrin and Tylenol with my breakfast. If that doesn't work I'll move up to a Soma. :D

Dace, I woke up in the middle of the night and it was just dumping. After close inspection it looks like my raised beds got a good soaking. Thank goodness. I hate having to water so early in the year. I think you should plant some tomatoes and peppers in pots. Maybe some cilantro. Then at least you can do salsa. They will all grow great on a sunny patio. I started a ton of heirlooms, even some of the seeds I save from that Great tomato adventure 2 years ago. Do you remember the 400 lbs of heirlooms? Anyways, you might need to come pick up a few plants. Give you a reason to finally come visit.
:ya

The thing with dh is he knows the job with dad is closer to home and maybe better money if he does it right. But I just can't stand the control thing. We are one step away from leaving Ca. Of course they come up with a plan to keep him here. They had to bribe him with something.

In the back of my head I think, it might have some good to it. As a VP he would be a partner and get a percentage until they ALL decide to sell. But it pisses me off big time that he didn't trust my dh to do this before. But now he wants him? :tongue You snooze you loose!! I would let fil suffer in his mess. But hes not my Dad. Who knows. His dad comes up with pretty crazy plans over and over. Maybe things will change again next week. :he

Well off to find MP some springy green pictures!!!

LOL Gina
sometimes I think my lazy day is another's full work load day haha

no eggs...done girl! I quit the farm biz. Miss the money...oh yes but I am cool wtih that lol

I kept 12 chickens, guess what, I sold those. So from 300 plus chickens to 12 to NONE. I buy my eggs from the "younger" gal down the road trying to get a biz started with fresh farm items. HEY support the younger generation right?

She said she would sell me some birds cheap to process...so I can keep my freezer meats full. I like that :)

Tired Gina
just tired :/ done it for a long time and now it is time to back off.

SOLD 4 black angus last week
Tony took 5 more this morning prices were good per lb. So we have about 20 more left to sell at this time

I am truly looking forward to a life without animal noose around my next---hmmm..time to get a new horse ! :bun :bun

:celebrate

Wasn't that rain heaven? We got 1.5 inches up here. After weeks of nothing, the trees and plants and streams needed a good soaking.

Sigh....I can't weigh in on the FIL stuff. Yes, controlling, but maybe your DH can move that control around with some employment agreements, that increase in steps. FIL WANTS him; DH now has the upper hand.

No seeds for me this year. With the house going up for sale in March, I don't think the metro shelving rack in the dining room with lamps, cords, and trays would look very good.

Here you go Jay!! Yes you think he would learn but family loyalty is big to him. Not that it worked in his favor but who knows.

So this is probably why my shoulder hurts in the first place.

Here are the beds getting filled.

These guys came to visit last week. They hung around most of the afternoon.

This is the view from SIL ranch in Fallbrook. The hills there are very rugged and natural. They back to Camp Pendleton and have a huge preserve on the other side.

There is a natural river that runs just down hill form her and she has a natural spring in the hills above her. It was actually a really nice find

Here is Sophia on a pony with her Auntie.

Hey Karen why don't yo mail me one of those Angus? ;) That's nice of you to help the young gal down the road. What comes around goes around.

Well Barb I know what you mean. But I think my yard will definitely look better with full veggie beds.

It's one of the things that makes this house more appealing. The only way my place will sell is if I am not in it. And I am done with the half packed crud. I'm gonna wait and if dh makes up his mind I will go full steam. But not until then. :barnie

I guess I need to either unpack or store the stuff already in boxes. :idunno

I can see the wheels turning in dh head. I think he wants to help his dad and then he figures if it fails we still get to move. I don't see things that way. :duc
