FB is on a roll and you are sampling it all.

Tough job but someone has to do it,

No fancy packages or tree elves over here.

Most all my adult life, FB would ask me to stop and pick up a loaf of bread from the store. Now she sends me to the freezer for loaf of her homemade bread.

It doesn't need any fancy colorful packaging or ingredient list we know exaclty what is in it and i speaks for itself. Besides our slcing skills are pretty well honed now, so we no longer have a need for "the greatest thing since sliced bread"

I got a slicing guide. My slicing skills suck. I need to start making smaller loaves so we get through before they get stale

We started off with a slicing guide, now we no longer use it. It helped me to learn to align the tip and the base of the knife equally from the edge of the bread before I start to cut. It wasn't easy for me to learn, took a lot of practice.

Keeping bread in the refrigerator seems to help it from molding and going stale. It's just the us two here, so I understand what you mean. But I also try and make it a point to enjoy atleast one slice, usally toast, or two slices for a sandwich every day, so that also helps.

FB informed me we are having sliders tomorrow, probably turkey if I were to guess. But I did get to enjoy a nice dinner roll with butter this evening. Before these become sliders.
