Okay, Little Miss Sushine-smarty pants...

How moist is the soil in the containers?
Are they in in direct or indirect sunlight?
What did you put in as soil? Any extras? (chicken poo?)
Are they in any drafts?
Has DD been near them lately? :D
waiting....

Moist enough but not too moist.
Indirect.
Seed startng mixture that contains vermiculite. No extras yet.
Tiny draft from the vent under their shelf.
Unfortunately yes she has...

I'd give'm a little direct light. The draft may be cooling them off too much.

I wouldn't let you down. :D

Keep me updated - a quick photo would help, too.

Hopefully the mud will dry out a little this week. I want to get my asparagus bed cleaned up completely and some poo side dressing applied. before it takes off.

Last year I had the worst growing pepper and tomato starts. I purchased an organic fertilized potting soil. Everything was stunted and took forever to come out of it. I harvested green tomatoes from the garden letting them ripen inside. This year got my old standby cheap Hyponex potting soil and all my plants look great, it was definely the soil.

Okay, I have become desperate for Spring. Over the past weekend, when I saw the forecast for snow at the end of this week (it's coming down now, 8-12 inches), I had to plant SOMETHING.

sooo, I found an old planter and planted indoors a few spinach seeds and several scallions, just to see something grow. I think the scallions are sprouting!!!

Updated: Definite on scallion and spinach BOTH sprouting....I'm a gardener again!!!:p
