Okay, this is awesome. Because I sold out this morning, I filled in really quick with some 5" diameter snickerdoodles. I ended up selling out in 17 minutes! Made $47 !
Neighbor boy told me half an hour before the sale that the city requires a permit, which I had no clue about. So, I prayed for some help, promising to get a permit by the next sale, and as noted above, sold out in 17 minutes !
I would be absolutely thrilled to take mail orders, but (a) the shipping is killer, and (b) They would be stale by the time they got there.
During the day, someone wrote on Facebook that the place they work (West Coast clearinghouse for Cigna Insurance) regularly has people selling baked goods, so maybe I could do it there. They are the largest employer in our County, so I definitely will be checking out the rules and regs...
Fundraising thermometer on the web site is up to $601, even after paying $650 to the insulation guys this morning.
