Yep, I know EXACTLY what you mean. My hubby's the same way. Only time he wants me to work is if money is tight. Otherwise, he prefers for me to stay home. He's getting to where he wants a farm more because of the amount of time I have to spend out there caring for the horses. I'd get more done if I wasn't torn in 2 different directions.

The thing that always comes to my mind is "the love of money is evil"

And, why is it that being a stay at home Mom is something that is frowned upon nowadays? Really? Do people think that by a wife and/or Mother not working means that she is lazy and depends on her husband? Well, yes, my husband promised to take care of me many many years ago. I think that it is his duty to take care of his family. He feels GREAT when he does, he feels like a man should feel; proud, trustworthy, like the man of the house that he is.
I think that the world started going to $hit when women started to work. Think about it...

I just want to say, that worrying this very issue to death during the first 10 months of 2011, is where I lost some of my sanity. :hide I am just now recovering. :weee
Make some goals, involve the people who are crucial to the plan, and leave out the rest. There will be naysayers, judges and negativity otherwise.
