Titan used to L O V E to roll it in! He would love it best when it was fresh! :D While not great, at least the chicken poo smelled better than the dead fish he used to roll in at the lake, so we didn't mind.

ETA: Pictures! :D

Titan watching a pack of feral dogs in the field next to us while grands are playing in the farm yard.

Titan with Patsy Jefferson, Rhode Island Red hen. Patsy was in the house because she wasn't feeling well. Titan has decided to go to bed...Patsy's bed was next to his.

Here is an old pic of Titan with Ike Eisenhower and some of The Ladies

And I have posted this pic hundreds of times. But I love it - Abigail Adams, Dominique hen, grooming bugs and weed seeds out of Titan's fur! :D

And here is Titan when he was an "only child" - no other dogs, no cats, and no chickens.. guarding the farmyard.

Ugh! Last week my two rolled in a dead possum, then came up to me and did the "Mom Sandwich". :/ So yes, chicken poop is much nicer....

Kel, thanks for sharing such wonderful photos of Titan! I love them all, but that photo of the black cat sleeping on his fluffy tail is priceless! (Cats are such opportunists aren't they? "Warm tail, oh, must be for me!")

He is such a nobel dog, I hope Kate can one day be as wonderful as Titan! :love The photo of him guarding your children on the snowy day should be framed! You captured a perfect moment in time!

I don't think Kate is a St. Bernard 100%. She has those double dew claws in the back and has the "wandering gene" like a pier. It is hard to tell from the photo, but she can place her nose up on the counter without jumping up. While cooking, all food must be pushed way back! :gig

I'm getting sappy now.... I can't believe he was turned into a shelter!! Such a wonderful boy you have!! :love

I try and try to take photos of Kate, but I think she may have been shot at b/c she hates the noise the camera makes and she especially hates when I get out my hand held drill (looks like a gun?)...so her photos are usually very blurred b/c she is running away. I got lucky with the one I presented.

Tomorrow I will have time to hide in the bushes and snap a few of her at work. :)

I busted her this morning stealing apples from the tree. As soon as she heard the click of the camera, she took off!

She also chased a small flock of crows out of the yard this morning leaving the chickens and ducks alone...I wish I had my camera then!! :he

That is Jane (Doe) in the background. She is my 10 year old St. that was a stray 9 years ago. :) She is sweet to the livestock, but not a gurdian type...too nice, and too deaf!
