You can use a knife, guys, and, depending on just how warm and fresh the deer is, a hefty person can just pull real hard and skin a small deer. Using a knife takes some time and leaves more hair on the deer that will have to be picked off later. Me? I'm all for time saving and efficiency....especially if its real cold, I've got blood and gore on my hands and I have another deer hanging and waiting to be processed. When you've been in that situation, you'll take the quickest and most efficient method~and gladly!
