OK, I don't have time in the morning to post to this, so instead, I'm going to post at night what I'm hoping to get done the next day. And, I'm not including "normal" stuff. (Feeding animals, work, etc)

1. Put out trash, recyclables.

2. Wash and hang out 1 load of clothes.

3. Pick up another load of hay, unload and stack.

4. Take hay that the horses don't like home. Stack in home hay shelter for the goats.

5. B4 I can do that, I have to clean out the hay shelter. So, the hay will have to sit in my truck while I'm doing that.

6. Make bread.

7. Work on garden.

8. Fill pool more.

Me too, on both.

So here is tomorrow's list for me (edited this morning to TOTALLY revise it, b/c what was I thinking??)

1) remember to call garage to make appointment for car, as it needs two new tires plus a/c is apparently stuck 'on' DONE

2) go to Newmarket (closest big town), get hardware for deck ledger-board and ask at paint store about painting ceiling and hit the thrift stores and do grocery shopping DONE

3) let dog and kid play outside while I mark where ledger board will go on house and drill holes in board and mark those spots on house. DONE

4) take more water out to chicken building, since it didn't rain after all last night DONE

5) do some sorting/cleaning/organizing in garage MOWED LAWN INSTEAD

(Thursday's most essential task -- I'm just leaving this as a note for me in case I get distracted -- take son to Early Years, rent hammer-drill, install ledger board)

OK, I've pasted in my goals for today, and I've put it in bold what all I got done.

1. Put out trash, recyclables. done

2. Wash and hang out 1 load of clothes. done

3. Pick up another load of hay, unload and stack. done

4. Take hay that the horses don't like home. Stack in home hay shelter for the goats. Done

5. B4 I can do that, I have to clean out the hay shelter. So, the hay will have to sit in my truck while I'm doing that. done

6. Make bread. done

7. Work on garden. done

8. Fill pool more. done
So, I got everything on my list done, but I finished later than I had planned to. Tomorrow, my list isn't as long.

1. Do dishes

2. Stop at insurance place, make sure we don't have a bill past due.

3. Stop at 4H office.

4. Work on basement.

I'm not trying to do as much because I'm going out to dinner w/a couple of girl friends.

Maybe I'm weird but I enjoy seeing others' lists, it makes me feel like I've got company :)

Today's list for me:

1) Clean kitchen (as in 'put stuff away' not as in 'scrub') DONE

2) Take son to Early Years to play for an hour or two DONE

3) Stop at tool rental store and hope their hammer-drill is in. DONE

4) Read instructions for concrete anchor thingies, then hopefully get the deck ledger attached to house. Why am I being such a weenie about this one particular thing??? "drillingcinderblockaphobia". Sheesh. DONE! VERY MISERABLY! TWO HOURS! NEED ACETOMINOPHEN! BUT YAY!

5) Reward self by running around doing agility things with dog for a while. DONE

6) Mow the parts of backyard and east yard that were too wet on Tuesday. yeah, right. maybe tomorrow

7) Other things as time permits. Honestly I'm not really thinking much past the drilling-into-foundation-wall thing. What an idiot :p

1. Do dishes
Done the ones I wanted to get done today.

2. Stop at insurance place, make sure we don't have a bill past due.
Decided to do that tomorrow instead. I have to go over that way and talk to someone about a barn sitting job, so I might as well kill 2 birds w/one stone.

3. Stop at 4H office.
I stopped, they didn't have everything done that I needed, so I had to wait for them to make copies.

4. Work on basement.
I got started, but didn't do much. But, its' better than it was this morning. :/

I also did a load of laundry, and hung it out on the line. I made sure that any undies weren't visible to the neighbors. Don't want to horrify them.

Tomorrow, I also have a short list.

1. Finish the dishes.

2. Wash another load of clothes.

3. Put away some clothes.

4. Go to insurance agent's office.

5. Go see about barn sitting job.

6. Work on fence.

You crack me up -- that's how things work here too

I'm really sore from duelling the foundation wall yesterday, so my list is just:

1) return hammer drill to rental place DONE

2) take kids to Early Years (6 yr old has no school today, for no obvious reason <shrug>) DONE

3) read book while kids play at playground afterwards DONE

4) mow the shaggiest/lowest bits of lawn b/c it's supposed to rain tomorrow DONE

5) determine height for deck posts and cut them and tack in place with screws, maybe proceed beyond there but probably not DONE - next step, notch them out for beams tomorrow

6) when husband gets home, drop car off at garage and get husband to do more mowing DONE

you're not weird Pat...seeing others have a 'long to do list' makes one feel better...the old 'misery loves company'

and as others check off their list, it keeps you motivated to check off yours
