I always call 'him' "My buddy Murphy" cuz he seems to love to hang around here a lot!

I like to read journals, especially when there's pictures, but I often miss posts if I don't check in frequently :/

I didn't know goats did that - 'banished' members. I would have a hard time with that - I'm too soft hearted. I can't stand it when one of my chickens gets picked on!

SS - I feel bad for her, they've been together since they were born. The mostly ignore her, unless she's trying to eat with them and then they run her off.

Been a good weekend - spent yesterday fixing DSs car - brakes locked up in the school parking lot (school is 40 miles from home) on Thursday and we left it there until yesterday when we could go work on it. We replaced the pads and calipers, but DH couldn't get the air out of lines so we left it til this morning DH, DS and my brother went and were able to get the air out and they got home just before I left for church. Today went to church, went by Moms and helped move a rabbit pen, went to choir practice and church.

I am really hoping that my girls are bred When I went out to feed tonight I felt Onyx's belly just in front of her udder and I swear I felt something move

Well I guess I now know why God has been trying to teach us to have faith for the last several months. Found out this morning that the prison my DH works at is being closed - close date is set for April 1. There are 177 position being deleted by closing that prison - that's a lot of folks in our small town about to be out of and looking for a job. Ya'll please keep us in your prayers. I know that God will make a way, even when I can't see any way but it sure is hard.

DHs job situation is still up in the air - they are supposed to place as many people as possible in vacant positions in the 3 closest prisons Still praying and knowing God will provide.

Spent most of the afternoon in the kitchen. Made pudding cups for school lunches, waffles for breakfast, made cookies and a pound cake.

Our county is in a major uproar over the closing of our prison. The powers that be made the numbers (which is all they care about) come out the way they wanted them to . . . the playing field was not level across the board. We attended the county commissioners meeting last night and found out just how much support we are receiving from our county reps - who were blindsided by this whole thing.

Ya'll keep us all in your prayers, I know God has a plan in all of this.
