If blackhead exists on your land, then you can’t keep chickens with turkeys. If it isn’t there, then it’s fine to keep them together.

I feed both chickens and turkeys habenero flakes about twice a year.

Just FYI .... Read article where they blind tested commercial raised and 8 breeds of heritage, private farm raised for preferred tastes. Farm raised won. Midget whites first by slight margin, red bourbons 2nd.

I would like to raise some MW for summer time family dinners. One of my son's makes the best smoked pulled turkey, I've ever tasted. BR is too big for summer BBQ's but much better for the holidays, Thanksgiving & Christmas.
