Isn't that scanner thingy fun? My husband added all kinds of scooby doo bathroom stuff on our wedding registry as a kind of joke and yep, we got it! We still have the Mystery Machine toothbrush holder!!!

Register for what you know you'll use. We registered for stupid stuff and I wish I could go back and do it all over again knowing what I know now!

No scanner.....blasphemy!!! :p

We really had to reign ourselves in when we registered....people gave us crystal clocks and crystal bowls....I gave those to my granny. We registered for plates and stuff that were very plain and neutral and that we knew we would use everyday. I never got the whole "good china" thing. Seems like such a waste to have dishes laying around in a cabinet that you only use once or twice a year.

I do recommend registering for one or two nice sets of sheets....like 400 thread count or better. We have 2 sets that we rotate every week.

Are you getting excited yet or are you just ready for it all to be overwith so you can get on with life? :p

Yeah, hubby and I didn't want a big wedding and if I had had my way there would have been about 15 people there but I am the only girl and my brother is gay so my mother figured this was her one shot at a big wedding...

I pretty much let her have free reign with it...I didn't know half the people at my wedding...she invited everyone she knew.

We got married outside in my Granny's front yard....I wanted to go barefoot, yeah mama pretty much nixed that.

Weddings are overrated. Get married at the courthouse and then throw a barbeque!

My D1 got married barefoot. It was a beautiful small church wedding, made even smaller by the groom being 5 hours late!!! He was military and his plane got hung up on the way home for the wedding!!

My daughter wore a Renaissance styled gown, bare feet and carried one rose. Her hubby wore his Navy dress whites. A day to remember for sure!
