Ok - I've come up with a couple.

I want to be a kinder, gentler person. I've had zero patience and a negative attitude since my daughter passed. It's time to move past that.

Procrastination is my enemy...need to overcome it.

If I come up with more - I'll add 'em.

i take a lot of deep breaths...

Adding:
Dry January. No particular reason, but it'll help with the next one which is

Healthier eating of course, lol.

Strength training. (in addition to all the 50lb feed bags that I move on a regular basis)

So, this morning's personal coffee time, I took a few minutes and visualized what a "finished" home interior would be in my head. I completely zoned out yesterday with no motivation. Felt very guilty about that this morning. The dark snowy days are not helping.

The past month has been super busy. Work has been good, having to put my thinking cap on tight to find creative ways to mitigate issues on multiple projects. However, after the work day is complete, the extrovert juices and creative abilities are completely drained.

The wife is doing great, have her on a rigid med and food schedule. That means I have to be on a schedule, too, LOL. I am happy she wants my chicken salad at least one per day. (Drop of sweetener, dried cranberries, and toasted pecans). I am glad I canned up some more chicken before all of this started.

So, my great epiphany is to focus on the tasks that must be completed-wife and cat care (food, laundry, med maintenance, etc), then focus on things causing me the most mental stress. Today's task, get the outdated stuff tossed from the refrigerator.

Menards is having a 15% off everything you can fit in a paper sack sale right now, I am thinking about running there and loading up on the specific laundry products we use....

One step at a time. Some of your steps may be small and some may be huge! Cleaning out the refrig is therapeutic, esp when you wipe down the shelves and wash out the drawers.

I'm decluttering. One room at a time, but then I get distracted and move to another room.

I sold a heart shaped Wedgewood Jasperware Heart shaped trinket holder, that I'd had on FB marketplace and on ebay, for $10 yesterday. I've had it since the 70's. I was about to give it away. The point is its no longer taking up room in my memories. My kitchen table is filled with "things" to go to Goodwill. Since they are open today, I'm rushing them over to get rid of the burden of those "things".
