Brainstorming. I have mice in my stove that are wreaking havoc with the wires. I will need to replace the stove.

However, I don't want to just discard the old stove and I'm trying to think of ways it could be reused.

First idea is to use it in the outdoor kitchen I'm building. Can it be used as the core of a wood fired oven? Other ideas?

I have firebrick, and if I used it for that it would be considerably changed.

Could you use the oven for storage in the outdoor kitchen? Maybe put a cutting board on the stovetop and use it as a workspace?

I appreciate the suggestion. It would definitely be a workspace of some kind. Another thought was to use the inner liner as the shell for my insulated cabinet. (Put hot stuff in to keep it hot, ice for cold).

Just brainstorming at the moment.

Actually, if I went in that direction the outer shell could be firewood storage...hm...
