I tried making oat flour in the blender. It works! I put 1 - 2 cups rolled oats in the blender and ran it on a low or medium-low speed. It's a bit more coarse then the oat flour I've purchased in the past, but I'll just call it "rustic". I'm more likely to sneak this flour into recipes than rolled oats. DH is fussy about food texture.
But! Before this experiment, I added 1/2 cup rolled oats per pound of meat into meatballs. They're for supper tonight!
