Vacation!!

Where are you crusing to?? I have never been on a cruise. I think I would love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is my first cruise as well. I know that we're setting off from Tampa, FL and hitting the Cayman Islands, but I cannot remember the rest of it, lol. Should be interesting for the boyfriend, being on a boat for the first time since the Navy. For me, well, it'll definately be interesting! I can't wait!

Anywhere? Without considering cost, time away, etc. Top of my list would be Scotland, Ireland and Wales followed closely by Northern Italy to my FIL's homeland. Also high up there is the Netherlands to see where my mother's family came from. Australia and New Zealand. I'd also love to go back to Russia to see more of Moscow and to get to St. Petersburg.
In the US I just want to see it ALL! Especially more of Alaska.
Reality is camping trips in the northeast. We love them. Last summer we went up to the Lake Placid NY region.
Oh, and how I'd love to be in Vancouver for the Olympics this winter!!!!!

If money were no object I would love to eat my way through China, Mexico street stalls and rural Italy. Alas all my vacations center on food. Kinda realistic though not in this economy, I would love to revisit New Orleans and could spend a week eating at dim sum houses in San Francisco. Used to be a chef and it never got out of my system.

I want the islands, all of them, all the tropical warm beaches and blue waters and all that. I don't want cold, chilly, damp in any way..LOL

Don't have a favorite, I would take any of them..LOL

Was a personal chef, anything from 2 wks of meals in your fridge and freezer to dinner parties. The economy tanked where I was and lost my ability to drive at night. I so loved it but now I am my husbands personal chef and make all his meals for over the road. Still love to cook, to learn and to eat.

Didn't mean to kill the thread. Would love to visit Washington and Oregon for all the local produce. Saw a food show about some awesomely daring and talented chefs in Alaska.
