allergies killing me
the pollen is going insane and making everything yellow--I hate that!
darn birds are nesting in my garage soffit. the bird crap and nesting materials all falling down right in front of the side garage entrance. hate them too lol---when babies are gone will take down soffits and put up hard wire mess inside to stop this crap from happening again. like there aren't enough trees?
off to hit grovery stores real fast and get my wonderful deals. I will let you know how that goes.
didn't do as well on this trip---no double coupons darn it!
spent $227
Paid $141
Saved: 86.20
got some rain checks ntho
so 2 days of shopping this week was $421.45
paid: $251.38
savings was: $170
and I have tons of food in the pantry! I will not have to get anything but some produce etc for a while BUT I am not thrilled with the results. I want more off...like at least 75% savings....so will work on coupon base for sure and be smarter when shopping...so experiment is still in full swing. plus I am out of money for groceries right now LOL but that is fine cause I don't need a darn thing LOL
Off to Target to buy a portable icemaker for the camper. Our state park in SC at the beach is in the middle of nowhere...they said stores are far away...so taking no chances. LOL
plus cost of bagged ice is high, especially for the amt used when camping so decided to get one. And by calculations it sghould pay for itself within 3-4 ntrips so that is good.
Tony has to mow the world...lol..bush hog a bit and more
everything is out of hand lol
treating Tony out to breakfast cause it was the only way to get him to go to the store today...I don't even feel like driving but feel like shopping
Ha!! I did that. I have one I think I bought it on e bay. It works great. It's big and heavy but I usually just sit it in our toy hauler garage after we get where were going. We camped at a very civilized place once with hook ups. Hot as heck though and they way over charged for ice.
but sadly my trip stunk. Target had none. So will order online and just mail the darn thing here...easiest. Been wanting one but putting it off. Long day of shopping and nothing to show for it.
Well--hit Bed Bath Beyond and got 2 new throw rugs for the kitchen sink area and one for entrance from back door...total $63. I thought that was high...my god for 2 decent rugs....but heck theyare nice quality but $63? LOL prices are wild out there for sure!
Tony off to pickup the new mower in a minute--he is thrilled to hit the grass hard HA
When ours came it was dented. It turned out they were being distributed/ made about an hour from my house. So I had dh pick it up vs chancing the shipping again.
Play date with Emily today. Nicole is thrilled her friend is coming over for a while.
House will be wild LOL
Going out to dinner tonight for Mothers Day with Tony's parents. To a buffet slop fest....LOL...they love the Prime Sirloin restaurant. One of those line 'em up and eat the crappy food kind of places.
Last time we went --and this is true---it was 90% customers that must have weighed at least 300 lbs or more. Most people had their bodies just stuffed into the booths . Sad but true. BUT it made me eat way less haha and that wasn't the only reason, the food is not tops either lol--but it is what they like, so off we go tonight.
taking life easy today. not killing myself doing anything much.
I told Tony for mothers day all I want is for him and Nicole to clean my car inside and out......yup....that would make me very happy lol
so off I go to get a few things done before Emily arrives....everyone have a great day!!
