oh, no horses just yet
maybe next spring cause I am just getting my life in order without a farm to run lol like painting bathrooms, kitchen etc gotta do some outside work for curb appeal that I have been putting off.

I need a year to get it all sparkling, then will be interested in riding again. right now no time due to wanting to get some projects done that I never could get to with the darn farm in action lol

good old monday morning

got Nicole off after completing the valentines day cards...ugh, I thought she did them all the other day but she didn't do the boys...haha...so we got that done fast this morning.

off to post office in a bit. boxing up soap sales and gotta hit the road to get them off in the mail. I love email orders. People just mail me checks..gotta love that haha

beautiful day again....will warm up nice! I "kinda" see that spring heading my way! WA HOO

UGH I hate cooking...so sick of deciding what is for dinner...lol
same old dinners, get so boring, and with me hating to cook I am sure not going to experiment with new stuff haha just throwing big chicken in the oven to roast, good enough

nothing to report...life is good

oh edited to say something cool happened last night

I took Bolt out at 12:15 at night right before bedtime for me. I stood froze off the front door stoop while he went up the drive to the mailbox to pee and more........a good size owl flew down off the roof and landed dead in front of me on the ground eyeing Bolt. (yea he is small and I think it thought he might be a meal) When that thing coming over the roof with big wings scared the daylights out of me lol til I realized what it was----- well that owl swiveled that whole head back at me and stared, I didn't move. It looked a Bolt a bit away at the mailbox, then back at me, then Bolt, then me....haha....he was a beauty. Then I guess I moved cause he looked back at me and took off doing an airplane airel manuever between my SUV and house....lol big flap flap from those wide wings. Just was cool. Bolt didn't even have a clue he might have been the reason that owl came down to check him out hahaha

Cool about the owl!! Our barn owl will be 3 this year, grew up with us humans/dogs/horses so he's unafraid. When it gets light outside the dogs run around and he swoops down and grabs butt hair lol! For hours they play. He swoops right above your head or will fly right behind you when you run, coolest feeling.

That's awesome!

The only owls I see are the ones that scare the crap out of me when walking through the woods. I was tracking a deer one night (yes, this tracking lasted well into the night) and out of nowhere the owl flew out of the tree right towards my head. I pretty much let everything within a mile radius know I was out there!

"fend for yourself" night oh yea I hear ya I call it "eating scraps night" hahaha

honestly the ideas for meals is such a pain. you as a mom and wife want to change it up, make it exciting, but if I can't get excited, then they all lose out hahaha

I can get away with "eating scraps" nights a few times then I gotta do the full out meal (with crusty bread) for darling hubby---I guess he just gott have it, while me, grilled cheese and soup 24/7 would be just fine lol

crappy wednesday cause I have alot of work to do

:barnie

off to deliver soaps to 2 of my retail stores that are local.

one is very close and she does a huge business and the other is way up into the next big town. ugh I hate the drive but I have to also do some shopping at Sams Club and it is right near the store....so kill 2 birds with one stone.

wrapping tons of soaps right now then into the shower and then off on the road.

took forever to find sneakers for Nicole today. ugh she has 90 pairs of shoes and can I find ONE matching pair--hell no honestly, I walk around this house constantly putting everything back where it belongs, so everyone else can find it and at some point even I lose control HA HA

and crappo dog is peeing on the hardwood floor way back in Nicole's tv room....sneaky little %^^*^& gonna come home and steam clean the hardwoods lightly. this was I had to clean the floor in her room anyway so that darn dog just upped the cleaning time on that room haha

off I go
everyone have a great day! :)
