I brought back a few sand dollars instead of shells....tons of those things in the water

Hunting Island State Park Campground is WONDERFUL. beach access right at your fingertips and just beautiful. wonderful people and lousey mosquitos.
place was packed but beach empty and people sure respected privacy etc. my kind of people

Nicole caught a 2 1/2 ft. black tip shark, Tony got giant sized stingray as his biggest and I caught medium sharks and small stingray. Tony hooked onto something about midnight on the pier, he fought it for 2 1/2 hrs. until it finally broke his line. he was devasted, never got it to the surface but he thinks monster stringray or about a 10 ft shark. oh well...he is quessing lol but he had a blast.

tons of sandy laundry now, have to mow the world cause it grew while gone D), pool needs work of course since it just sat there and I am tired.

my bro Rich and family are driving down tonight for July 4 weekend. should be here around 10 pm. will go over to Mom and Dads on Sun and Mon to have fun with them. Nicole can't wait to see cousin Kathleen...they have a blast.

other than that, I am tired, did I say that, well, super tired. lol but I have so many emails for soap orders and 2 of more stores are ordering on the phone messages that I must fill, I have to start soap first thing in the morning. oh well...back to the grind as usual until my next trip.

will write more later, gotta go cause I am pooped to the max-----

those sand dollars are nasty...you pick them off the ocean floor and they turn your hands yellow...bright yellow....the kids say they are peeing, but someone else said it is the iodine in their body they release....hmmm.....nasty critters

small list of stuff to do before heading over to the lake to see my brother and his family again
had a good time swimming, tubing, boating etc yesterday



first is clean the pool...alot of leaves after a week....reminder, cut down that one tree LOL

little laundry

little (alot) mowing

finish taking stuff out of the camper!



then off to the lake to play again all day.

Rich is heading to SC today to buy tons of fireworks...they have big boomers for sale here. I like that We like to play with gunpowder here in the South and it is legal---ah, you can't go wrong with that!


woke up stiff as a board this morning...hmmm..getting a tad old and I am feeling it. riding in that kid tube behind the boat squished me up a bit and now I know I am dragging out the adult tube from the basement today. No more squish in kiddie tubes LOL....

HAPPY 4TH EVERYONE! I WILL ENJOY THIS SUNNY, SUPER HOT, BRIGHT CAROLINA BLUE SKY DAY!


6:30 am----mom my ear hurts---how bad? oh not too bad....hmmm
6:45 am----mom, ow, it hurts worse---how worse? (starts to cry)

7:00 am my bro comes over from the lake house to put a router onto my modem so Tony's new laptop has internet....that takes til 8 with us chatting etc......mom, my ear still hurts, kinda crying again....hmmm....

8:00 am-----call her Dr....closed, not taking chance on urgent care being closed cause of 4th, so off to emergency room we go.

NO ONE in there...wonderful....2 mins later we got the Dr....yup ear infection, nasty in ear he says and off with 3 prescriptions. antiobiotics, ear drops, tylenol with codeine for pain. Dr. says no swim for 10 days, keep ear dry and she cries cause she can't boat tube today with Kathleen...oh the drama.........pharmacy filled fast, she is starving, off to eat breakfast out. then off to store to get some July 4th party stuff, then she says, she isn't doing well, we must get home and get meds into her LOL

All meds taken and she is in sleeping right now. Hopefully, fingers crossed by 5 pm she is OK to go to the fireworks at the lake. of course, she can sit in water and play a bit, but today is all about making her comfy to enjoy fireworks with family tonight.


so long morning

Tony out finishing up mowing. I have last load laundry started. and I am giong to relax for a min. before hitting camper and getting out more stuff. (stuff, getting more and more sick of stuff again...thank goodness house is decluttered, so I told Tony after 3 years of seeing 'stuff' in my camper WE NEVER USE, I am going thru that camper and decluttering to bare minimum...oh yea, less stuff LOL)




ok off to get a few things done....everyone happy 4th and have fun today!

Why is it always when the DR's office is closed that kids get sick? Hope she feels better soon.
