My SIL has been watching that TV show Extreme Couponing. She explained to me why it does not work here in Ca. I guess you guys in other states have double and triple coupon offers??? Ca does not.

One more reason to leave.

He karen, I just ordered a hand held Wagner Power steamer on Amazn. I am waging war on my tile grout!!! :rant

Ever tried one before???

One thing my friend has explained to me is to pair store BOGO's with a manufacturer's coupon. For example, Publix had Reynold's Wrap as a BOGO (good deal already) and she used a manufacturer's coupon for $1.00 off... even better savings. Evidently, Publix will give you $1.00 off on each even though one is already free. So you save $2.00 on one, get one free. Nice!

We don't have good coupon deals around here, either. They will double coupons-up to about $1.00, if that, but that's it. And, the majority of the coupons are for things I don't or won't use. For the most part, it's not even worth it for me to get the Sunday paper for the coupons.

yea I don't have stores that allow me to go 'super coupon extreme' either and those stores that do allow it, I bet they will be changing their coupon policies soon

HT is best for me. double all the time to $1, then have super doubles to $1.98 and triples to $2.98 this store allows 2 coupons on buy one get one....so I use 2 coupons on those deals and make a killing.

my other stores only allow 1 coupon on a buy one get one and never triple. in fact one store never doubles...lol...so I have to pick and choose sales etc carefully.

my one store has "Big 10' Big 20 Big 30
buy 10 of a bunch of sale items listed and they give you instant $5 off at checkout.
buy 20 get $10 off at checkout
buy 30 get $15 off at checkout

well I took advantage of that one...I did 30 items (paper plates for camping, TP, paper towels, etc.---had coupons for all of them--and got $15 off at checkout. I practically got that stuff free. those deals I love when they hit right.

I still need to know that JR learns...might be something interesting I am missing.....more info is better LOL

tough morning, moving slow

lower back is killing me. Nicole had a 'climb all over mom' night. she wanted me to be the horsey...lol...and now my lower back is OW OW OW --getting older sucks rocks

not much today. checking stores for coupnos deals but not many good ones...might hit HT in the morning to get some free stuff but not alot.

soap of course, orders thru the roof

some chores as usual.

cloudy day. still didn't get to that pool, since Nicole can't swim for a few more days I have been putting it off...lol...now it is icky outside and I don't want to get wet....so maybe tomorrow...but the water is clean, just leaves on the bottom so it can hold, will turn on the filter of course.

Barb's sister, Pat, has a condo on the beach at far end of Myrtle. We are trying to plan a no kid, just us, few days end of July....she is trying to pick soem days that Tony is off work and she can get away from the dairy. So that is in the works.....and yahoo that would be a blast for us to party like the old times again....weeeeeeeeee---so trying to get that wrapped up and done.

other than that nothing much happening.....quiet is a good thing :D

everyone have fun today

like I said back feels better.....kiddo jumping on me is not cool  getting older and that's a fact! but moving better today!

nothing much doing....never got into the pool yet, can ya tell I am delaying that....not in the mood for some reason...probably cause after 8 days of beach and pools I am tired of swimming for a bit but never fear, I will start using the pool full speed again very soon......you can't keep me out of the water for long :p

soap work today

Grandma coming at 8:30 to take Nicole to breakfast and shopping so that gives me the morning free...ahhhh....can't wait til I have it quiet.

not having a garden this year, I tell ya I love it. Dad gve me maters and cukes and radishes, Rachel gave me a big mess of green beans, squash etc. the no work of a garden is so nice this year but I miss things I did grow.....so next year I am going to plant the things I love, no maters, cukes etc. cause everyone is giving them away--just planting a few things I live to eat that no one plants...haha

other than the usual will be a quiet slow day. I like that!

everyone have a good friday!

Gina meant to say I haven't gotten that Wagner steamer you are ordering, but OH YEA---I was on the fence a few times darn near ordering. it looks like a good gadget.......when you get it let me know how it truly works cause it is something I would love to have if it performs the way they say.

I am in search of a small refrig for drinks for camping...and believe me we are looking into the trade about a toyhauler.....I sure want that space I am missing. haul toys and have 'a room' to put crap....oh yea we are grading up but taking it slow to be sure the next trade works well....cause ya know they lose so much when you buy them LOL
