all about soaps today

Nicole gave me no trouble going to school. I expected I AM SO TIRED but she wanted to go see her friends and she wants to be sure she is 'caught up' and 'always smart' --- good kid, I am doing something right LOL

she will drag big time this afternoon

laundry big time to get the beach washed away! :)

have to think of when to close up the pool. nights are chillier and water is colder now and my attitude is shifting from swimming to other things now. but yea, the heat is still here big time in the high 80s and 90s

have to get my drivers license renewed...what a pain...means I have to go to the DMV God help me please! LOL

other than that, so tired of course from trip but all seems well on return.

found a nice campground in Tennessee. has a heated outdoor pool and hot tub. hmmm...thinking of calling and seeing how long that pool is open into cold weather. might just plan up a trip to Dollywood and stay there. sounds darn good to me lol

off to get stuff done

everyone enjoy their day! :)

edited to say---Tonys fishing was poor but fun.....my metal detecting netted me $3.58 plus tons of metal junk (I am an offical clean the junk off the beach person :) and they put on a Labor Day fireworks display that was fab off the pier. Right next to our camper so we just had a blast and a front row seat to the fun.

I love Gattlingburg TN! Last time we went to the Petting Zoo (the wildest place in town). I can't remember the name of it now but the kids loved it and I had a bunch of fun! My DH fly fishes to so he loves to hit the streams.

oh boy Lovin' your hubby and mine would get along great

Tony fishes regular little worms for trout. he isn't big on fly fishing cause the streams are small in the mts here and he always ends up in a tree LOL

but he catches tons of trout....delish and in the freezer! :)

yea I saw the petting zoo in the attractions for the area. Nicole loves the critters so that is on the list also.
Glad you gave it a thumbs up!!!!

soaps as usual today. catching up and stocking inventory and all that lovely mess LOL

easy day basically. Mom and Dad popping over this afternoon for Dad to pick up his load of farmer market soaps so I have to wrap a ton of them for him.

laundry almost caught up from beach trip.

Gained up 8 lbs recently and this trip just nailed me. We ate way too crappy but good --haha--so being very careful wtih food right now. Want that 8 lbs gone real fast, which it will. Giant salad time for a while...which I love so it won't be hard to live with at all.

chilly this morning. I left the AC off last night and survived. In fact I had to close windows late last night cause of the chill. WEE means the power bill should drop nice now. I sure like that! :)

Searching out a nice corn maze for Halloween. There are a few good ones towards the mountains, not a long drive. Always wanted to go to a good big corn maze. So will be checking into finding a good one around here and plan a day trip to have some fun! FIL is growing a few pumpkins. Last year we grew a few acres lol but this year he put in only a 'patch'. if they do well great, if not I will have to buy a few good pumpkins for the season.

I think our weather is changing. The 'heat' of the day isn't the same hot hot but yea, it is hot lol but that change is happening which feels good tho.

I will get out the crock pot and make a big pot of beef stew today and will make rice or noodles tonight. Have to get that moving right now after I get Nicole on the school bus.

so that is about it today. usual stuff

everyone enjoy this nice friday!!!

DONE!!!

5 days---lost my 8 lbs.

very easy to do....but I think I want to lose another 8-10. I am not up high but I onlylost 66 lbs. and my goal was 75 lbs total a few years ago....so I think I am in the mindset to lose that extra 8-10 to make my initial goal weight of a few years ago. So going for it.

probably will drop to size 10 but that is cool, I haven't shopped for new jeans in long time LOL---so I can pack up my 12s and hold onto them as usual.

Well Nicole floored me. Came home from the school a few days ago asking for a DS game. I thought, huh, must be some kid game. She said a few kids had them and were bringing them to school.....she said it was a big kid game vs. her Mobigo she got last year. Well went to Walmart today and I started in the toy dept. Couldn't find anything like it....so I ask....and lady said --go to Electronics. I thought, OH HECK NO....this is no toy, this is real.....lady said it is Nintendo. OH CRAPPOLA! this is going to cost...lol

So over we go. $169....games about $20-30 range. ARE YA KIDDING! Well she got ticked but I said Santa was going to have to bring that game cause it was too heavy for my wallet today. So after talking about Santa for a bit, in the car on the way home, she looks up to the roof and says "Santa, you have to hear me, I have been good and want a pink DS game please"-----ugh......so yea, that will be her big present this year....along with a FEW smaller things. At least I know what I am dealing with this year HAHA

Tony out mowing. he is so tired from work...they moved him to Fiber Dept. Machines run fast, break out fast and he doesn't have a clue how to operate...driving him batty LOL....they say every Fri/Sat/Sun he works on rotation is in fiber. His supervisor is pissed they took him. He wants to keep him in Coax......so who knows. But this new fiber job is testing him big time. that darn 12 hrs is a long day. I gotta say I feel for the guy...he isn't getting any younger (as I am not either LOL)

So a bit ago when I said I had to lose the 8 lbs (which is gone) hubby got into this big notion of 'let's walk at night'----and he texted me from work. So today he is sleeping on the couch, woke up a bit ago and I say, remember that text? He says NO....I said the one where you want to walk each night. He slapped himself in the head and said why the heck did I write that???? HA HA Well tonight we start the walk up and down our road and will expand later. It will be good for us. (well he truly doesn't think so, cause he doesn't want to now, but hey ya know HAHA)

working on pool...getting ready to cover and close

busy busy busy as usual.

nothing much. outside to sweep the mulch off the front porch that Nicole piled there and a few other small projects to clean up, might trim up that little tree looking ragged.........EVERYONE have a great night! :)

yep, Santa is gonna have to pony up for the pink ds. LOL. How could he resist that kinda a plea? LOL.

Kids are so sweet. I once had my two year old pray for a bunny as big as her with soft ears and nose. And if she got it, she would know she was being a good girl.

Cost me 40 dollars and a midnight trip to wallworld. But that bunny was in her arms when she woke up.
