hey Gina

yea word is Tonys dad is coming home tomorrow morning some time. then he is set up with a few drs. about the hernia and intestines.

ugh......

but Tonys Mom stopped by tonight and brought us up to date and she said Ralph is forgetting alot of things...she noticed it is getting worse all the time....little things, where are they keys, if ya ask what he ate he can't remember etc. Tony and her chatted cause Tony said when they work on tractors or the hay baler etc. he can't remember what part of the darn thing they are working on or what tools they need. Tony said he noticed it alot also......so ut oh on that one. I hope it does not snowball. Rachel is going to have the Dr. check the memory loss also.

so.....

yea that medical increase stinks but we can swing it plus we want insurance LOL better with it then without it for sure.

but wow, prices are going thru the roof on increases for everything now.

SO....tomorrow will be a very fun day! :)

Nicoles 2 friends, Emily and Destiny are coming over at 9 and then we are off to the Corn Maze. 8 acres of twisted fun in the portrait of Jason Aldeen (or whatever that country stars name is lol) the pic. from the sky is so cool...face and cowboy hat and his name. They did a beautiful job on this corn maze.

along with train cow ride, hay wagon ride, zip line, pumpkin guns, playground, petting zoo and some other stuff.

so long day of fun tomorrow and off early am

I will let ya all know how it goes tomorrow with 3 kids....lol...I am used to 1 only so this should be wild.

It's always good you can send them home at the end of a busy day. ;)

Just a FYI, may not apply at all. My Dad started having short term memory loss (still does - have to make sure he's writing it down if you want him to remember today and not next month!) and the Dr. found out he had had a TIA (?) or TA (?), anyway, a small stroke. Basically fried the part of his brain that provides short term memory. Were thankful it wasn't degenerative, but it's tough to live with. Just a thought.

DH has a self paid insurance plan, which sounds great - everybody pays in, then it is used as needed. We have had increases in premiums for the past three years, our co-pay has gone up dramatically, and just recently we were told our prescription co-pay would go up - $25 for generic and $40 for regular. If my sister gripes to me one more time about the fact that she's 'forced to pay $5 per prescription' I think I'll cut out her tongue :D

Hope your party day was fun!

I will learn to spell someday

that could be a medical problem for him definitely. his health isn't great. has a defribrilator (spelling lol) for his heart, had a small heart attack many years ago but on some meds, had colon cancer and beat with surgery and has high bp etc. So easily it could be something like that.

ugh

he has a slew of dr appts set up thru the following weeks so we should be knowing something.

yea my co-pay did the high rise act also. :(

but all in all, I am still ok with the good coverage and (still relatively) cheap cost to me....so I kinda want to moan but know I should not...lol

well hot dog the corn maze was ---ready---aMAZEing HA HAHA

we had a blast. very curvey, dead ends and all but we did it in just under 2 hrs. kids went down pretty quick...I am hot, I am thirsty, I am tired, I am hot, tired, thirsty, hot, tired, thirsty...heck all 3 fell to the ground wanting breaks...lol....I marched them right along.....they got good exercise.

the zip line was great. all girls loved it and rode it 2 times. the cow train was a hoot. make-shift ATV with 55 gallon drums cut into seats on a long metal wheeled contraption. They went fast and loved it. I wondered about this homemade train, but it was one of the best things they had haha

on Case Farms...chicken houses...they had about 14 houses way in the back of the farm. We took the tractor wagon ride and it rode around it......OH TO SMELL tons of chickens again...turned my stomach truly HAHA--never liked poultry...

then off to Golden Corral to eat. Big buffet. Kids went nutso. Cheapest I could do for them to have a blast sucking down tons of desserts :p

but had a blast and would definitely go back again next year. I would love the haunted maze at night...but kids to small right now...scare them to death I am sure hmmm...uh, nah lol

so everyone tired...tons of work tomorrow....Nicole off from school Monday so thinking of something to do......but too tired to think too hard right now.

sunday and chilly but will warm up very nice today.....early early spring and heading into fall are just fab in NC! :)

the usual to do and then a free day to goof. not sure what kind of goofing I want to do...lol

I might take Nicole to a few playgrounds so I can metal detect and she can play. Not sure if I feel like driving today just yet haha

life is good.

can't ask for more....other than hoping Tony's job somehow gets easier. Poor guy is working like a dog. With the way the company is they are moving people all around to new jobs they don't know how to run the machines. but ya go where they say right? shut up and get the paycheck LOL and I say this only because we have tried tons of scenarios to get him out but he makes way to much money right now to consider doing it. Gotta bank for Nicole's college of course :p

well when he comes home he gets a great dinner, good family and we 'kinda' try to not torture him too much when he is tired...lol...what else can one do?

so off to get this day moving....cause right now Nicole and I are moving slow LOL

well easy day

Nicole off from school

I had plans to hit the post office, uh, duh, they are closed. So all my soap orders are hanging out on the dining room table to go to the PO in the morning. I worked hard yesterday evening getting them boxed for todays delivery. oh well

never got to metal detect yesterday but I don't think I will go today. I can't handle that weather plus it does truly look like rain is coming soon.

so today is usual chores etc and bit of soap works but other than that, not sure what I want to do. Nicole is on the laptop....she is learning tons everday.

so all is great in my little world! :)

sure rained like crazy yesterday and last night....and muggy! very close to putting on AC but didn't :p

should be clearing today.

my mums in the planters are starting to bloom....wow...very very pretty. I am a flower gal for sure. Early spring I will put in some bulbs into the planters. I love having extra time now for flowers...when farming I sure lost time in the fun dept. but now flowers are in my life again.

off to walmart. Nicole says her bed is hard  going to get a extra fluffy mattress cover and that should do the trick.

Tony not feeling good...we all got a bit of the crud. Sinus! :( puts me down big time and Nicole is sniffing...geez, school started...yea I can sure see the connection haha

off to get moving. everyone enjoy this great day!
