yea a NAP. A NAP!

yea I am the same. I combine trips and hit it all. post office, bank, store, whatever and home. cause I don't want to HAVE to go each day.
I mean really, do I have to take a shower early AM to go out in public every darn day. Sometimes I want a shower at, say, 11am after I did some dirty work.

I am content here also. Hard tho cause I ran so fast the last years. Never stopped and then boom. It is hard to adjust to less work. I never thought I would say that, but yea true. BUT now I am finding more work stinks! :plbb

The other night I was thinking---ya know me and hubby haven't gone out and had a blast in a long time. Then I thought, well, duh cause I actually don't want to....then I thought, we need to....then I thought, why bother. Then I thought, hey don't skimp on partying thru life a bit, and then I thought, I am too darn tired to do it!! Our 'night out' is going out together and having lunch. Big date and fun, but at least it is in the daylight hrs. and I can see to drive. Night driving is getting harder and harder on the old eyes  I tell I am falling apart bit by bit... :gig

that isn't too bad snapshot. at least around 1 you had that vehicle back. I often thought of going to one vehicle but that will never happen. We have to have the big truck for camper and farm and no way I can have nothing. hey, I have too much to do
I gotta find a way to do less :p

boy I bet you can't wait til you move!!! the anticipation has got to be crazy to handle!!
You have no idea!!!!!!!! I've wanted to be here since '08. Known we were coming here since last November. Been here and waiting on a house since March!!!!! :barnie DH said he thinks he can see the light at the end of the tunnel and he doesn't think it is a train, so we will see. Oh yeah, we are right next to a railroad track. About 30-40 feet away!!! Hah!!!

Are you really next to train tracks? Are they active? You going to be the ones you see in movies when the Express comes by and the whole house shakes?

So Tony got off early from work, went to Dr. about his thumb. It is red and swollen and Drs are preplexed. Took x-ray to be sure there wasn't some bone infection or something...no...but they don't know what to give him to get it back to normal. change of meds. Now on some different super antibiotic to kill other bacteria. I tell ya this thumb is truly heading into insanity. Come on now....get this over and healed.
but ya gotta do what you gotta do.

So on way home he bought a battery for the truck. $126 Come on, ya know, geez.

It is pouring outside. He is out in the rain changing the battery. I said move the truck to under the carport near the backhoe. He said good idea. Then we both look at each other, like, DUH, it doesn't run...hahaha

THEN kid out in garage with dog as Tony is changing battery. She comes in, flies thru kitchen wanting a flashlight and BOOM. Down like a ton of bricks. Knee and hand. Thank goodness it wasn't the head. So she is on the couch now with ice pack and laptop LOL

Now waiting on dog to come in soaked. Towel at the ready.

One of those evenings.

I feel your pain.

Now that I said that, can I laugh? :D

Some days are like that, for sure. I have had weeks running into each other like that! Sucks. BUT later I can laugh. Sometimes it's much later.

Did you sneak in a nap today?
