Are you really next to train tracks? Are they active? You going to be the ones you see in movies when the Express comes by and the whole house shakes?
You betcha!!! As we watch tv in the eve, we have to pause 3 or 4 times in a couple of hours!!! And yes, they go by at varied times but I recall 12:45 am, and 1:50 am a few nights. All I can think is "My cousin Vinny"!!!!!! Bet it will be quiet when we move!!!!

As long as it only lasts for 15 minutes, that shouldn't be a problem. Then, it's all over and done w/at once, and you can get some peace and quiet! :D

that is so funny snapshot. Do you walk the tracks ever? We have the old unused tracks near town. I wanted to metal detect along them but decided with all the rr ties and more it would be insane. It is a great walk tho. But with yours active, is it safe to walk them?

Morning is chilly out there.

Nicole is ready for school. Hello Kitty boots are so darn cute. Wish I could get a pair! :D

She wore her new high heels to school yesterday. She said the boys loved her shoes. :th oh boy oh boy.

So this morning is printing out labels for a store soap order, wrap, box and have to hit the post office, then off to Staples for new paper for labels. Might hit the dollar store while out. Then home for soap work again.

I have a gift card to Kohls from Tony from last Christmas. I have to use it or lose it. Since it is far I will plan next week to get up there and buy something. Hoping they have those micro thermals that Tony likes. He could use a new pair and I think they got a few toys and will get Nicole something from Santa. $25 should go very fast right? :p

Bolt stinks from being wet last night. Bath time for him today later this afternoon. I bought that whitening shampoo so I hope that gets some of that dingy yellow off him. Groomer made him sparkling white, I hope I can do the same at home. eh, we'll see.

Nothing much more. Today is all about usual chores and such. Everyone enjoy this fine Tues.

I haven't here but I did in FL to pick elderberries and blackberries. I don't think I was clear about the noise earlier. It only lasts about a minute or two but it isn't the sound of the train, it's the whistle that is so loud you can't hear (several times an eve) and at 3:48 this morning also! We are right by a crossing on a main road here. Anyway, it will be quieter soon.
