big computer troubles right now. ugh

I go nuts when this crap happens. on laptop now but my desktop is screwed. probably will be off for a while when I try to get it all fixed,

hope you're back up and running soon! Ya know our TV has been messing up and so has my printer. I think there is a chip in them that tells them to mess up near Christmas so I go out and spend money on a new one. I'll just go get my foil hat and see you after a while! LOL

when I changed over to charter I didn't download a security suite yet and by gosh I was just going to do it when I got nailed by a virus.

I can't login or move anywhere on it. Called charter and they said nothing they can do, gotta take it in to be wiped and cleaned and all that crap, which means time and mone LOL

I downloaded security from the laptop so covered now so the laptop should be fine. I don't know UGH


one thing is the keyboard is so strange andhard to type lol

I have just used my laptop for the past 5 years and can barely type on a regular keyboard anymore. Feels really strange! Just this eve, I had McAfee say that I was at risk for a virus from a certain website--did not recognize it. I have run Malware and AVG and they both say nothing is infected. McAfee wanted me to buy something to fix the website I did not recognize. Not gonna happen!

I got all of the christmas presents wrapped. I am done except for buying Nicole's DSXL next week. Electronics are only 15 day return. So I can't buy it until right near Xmas. I want that return just in case. So other than that I am done. Will hit store later for that present and get stocking stuffers and DONE DONE DONE

Ah, I love having it all done now. No pressure at all


All going great. Weather decent. Not running alot of power so I love that.

I bought new power strips for the tvs and they are clicked off at night so saving new power there.

waiting on neighbor to install water heater timer....but with Xmas I bet he won't get here til after the holiday. Will go next door and ask him about when he will come.

Called cable people. They need to bury my line when I got cable. Set for Jan 3. They said they would be back--yea right--they forgot about me so I am now on the bury the line list LOL

so I am goofing a bit on the laptop and Nicole is yelling, bring me the computer. LOL

she loves this laptop. getting extremely good at computer knowledge now. for a 6 yr old I am amazed


So happy she is getting her own laptop for Christmas. Bro mailed one down from NJ to my Dad.
She said she wants one and I said no and she pouted a bit.
I said next year....she will be so surprised when her grandpa gives it to her.


so nothing new. brrr here and I have a few small projects outside later when it gets warmer.

easy day today.

Tony is taking kiddo hunting this morning. I told her to get dressed cause she is already late to get into the blind and she said she doesnt want to leave this early. lol She wants to see deer. So I figure she will last about 1 hr in the blind. it will kill her to just sit and wait LOL
can't wait to here the tale when they get back from the farm.

I called staples and $350 to fix my puter and add word processing program back on.
very bad virus corrupted core programs.

I said NO WAY !!
no way they are getting that from me


So I am getting it back and mailing it to my brother who is VP of a computer company in Jersey. He will fix for free and send it back just like it was before.
But time. mail time, his fix time cause he is busy, and mail back. Should have in maybe 8-9 days. I really need the darn thing for my soap labels for my orders but I jury-rigged a kinda same label on the laptop and will use that.

I tell ya it stinks, it all stinks, and stinks more!
