Okay I'm a little tired now. Just got done with errands. LOTS OF ERRANDS :th First I took mom some cash, then we went to the P.O. got stamps and a money order. Drove 30 miles to drop the money order, stopped back by the P.O. because I forgot another money order I was supposed to get, went and paid the welding supply place off, and then drove 30 miles back the other direction to another town to put money in DD's account. Stopped by and paid the doctor, opened a savings account, paid on the loan, got setup for the loan ammt to come out of savings, stole a pen from the bank(really they gave it to me, but i like to sound tough sometimes ;) ) went by and paid the land taxes, renewed car tags, and went couponing at Wallymart where i saved roughly 35% and stocked up on some personal care and grocery items we were running low on. Got home, and a girl was sitting across from my driveway with her rear end sticking out in the road. She had ran out of gas, we had some here so we put it in her car. Finally I got to take everything in, and got it put away. Then I had to fix me and the pup some lunches, ate and now i'm sitting here like a lump on a log for a minute. After lunch the pup decided to leave me a present :p So I got that cleaned up. I have to make bread and laundry soap today, clean out both brooders, do 2 loads of laundry, clean out the incubator, and water the greenhouse plants and the tomatoes inside. And then I get to figure out what's for dinner and cook

Tomorrow, we move the horse. J lied to me. She said to take her back to where she was before she left. The guy won't take her back :hu So, I am rehoming her tomorrow. I already have a place lined up for her, just was trying to give J another chance before i did what we originally agreed to do anyway. I NEVER said I was taking her for the entire 4 months for certain. What I DID say, was IF we can't get rid of her, IF J paid the feed bill, then probably she could stay. Since the feed is coming out of our pocket, and I HAVE found her a home, and J has lied to me twice now, then yeah....she's getting rehomed per the original agreement. I will NEVER take someone else's horse again under any circumstances EVER...this has been a nightmare and a half!! Apparently other folks can't hold up their end of the bargain. The horse has been here for I don't know how long and $60 is all I have seen, and the big fat frickin Great Dane ate up half that!!

I'm glad yesterday was a good day for ya, and sorry today wasn't! :hugs

I am being a lazy cow today! I am doing laundry the slacker way, plan to dye a bunch of this-and-that's later, and cooking whatever I find that's quick for dinner :p

And that is why I WON'T take in an animal for someone for just a short period of time. I've seen RU get stuck w/animals too many times. And, she won't rehome them, so she gets stuck taking care of them. The only time she ever got rid of an animal was a jack donkey. She had no place for him and he was horrible! (He got dumped on her basically) She dumped him BACK on them.

I think I'm buying 3 Jerseys today....and getting rid of a horse. If I knew someone who wanted a Jack, I can get him too, for nothing. I think I'm getting a great deal on the Jersey's though, 14 month old heifer $500, year old bull for $500, and a weaned bull calf for $200. We're likely gonna eat the bull in a few months, raise the calf up for meat, and AI the heifer for another meat calf and milk her. This heifers mother gave 3 gallons a day for a long time for my uncle. I gotta work on my fences, but they'll be in the barn for a few weeks to get adapted to this place anyway.
