I'll be shovelling poo this morning and as soon as R gets up, and we get animals fed, we'll be working on shuffling some of the animals around. We have plans for another couple of tractors, and coops. As soon as the piglets are gone we'll be changing the barn around. Getting out of pigs and seperating out more coops for the different breeds of birds. I have eggs to set today, and others to lock down for hatch. I also have laundry to contend with as well....I might even get to use my clothes line today :woot LOTS going on this morning!! :D I gotta get him up and get going on some things or we won't get anything done.

The good thing about this poop, is it is mixed with sand, so will be good to build this clay soil up to a better loamy consistency :D Just so you know ahead and can account for the sandiness if you plan on using it in your beds this go around. It is aged already, so can go straight in.

Seven wheelbarrow loads, and have barely knocked a dent in it  WOW!

Had to come get a break and get breakfast. :) Now back to the poo pile!!!! :weee

I just sold 80 chicks, 5 guineas at a loss  , 7 piglets, and something else...oh yeah 15 hens and a tom turkey :p I gotta deliver the oinklets, the turkey and guineas Saturday, and the chicks will be gone Monday. :D CAN'T WAIT! I got other plans for their areas already with Delaware babies hatching and ducklings and....yeah..plus I have the garden and greenhouse to contend with now, so we're talking of downsizing some of the flocks a bit, and just selling chicks for a while. I have another couple pigs to sell, and I'll be good to go. I have preorders for Delaware's and maybe a few Legbars as well as soon as they start laying and I get some hatched off. Also have all the turkey poults I can raise this year spoken for at the price I wanted. So, things are looking good here on the farm :D The 15 hens were the neighbors birds, and he made a good penny on those. I just used that sale to corner my buyer on my turf  He did as usual and pretty well bought me out all in one whack ;)
