The clothes are on the line :p and in the bedroom with the fan blowing...and in the basket awaiting a spot. Priced some dryers today...for what good it'll do. Cheapest is $450, comparable is about $750.. OY! Also got our whopping $300 electric bill paid...so much for this weeks money  Hanging on...by a thread, but still hanging on none the less. I'll be glad when Spring does get here!!!

STILL no word on the job. We won't know until next Monday....5 more days or wondering, and that's only IF they told the truth this time. *sigh*

January sucks lemons.

UGH! Run away! Don't get it! (And when you do - lots of fluids, hot liquids, bed rest while you are waited on hand and foot by those who love you!)

Seriously, I'm sooo sorry - this will NOT make your life easier right now. Hugs!

We got an unannounced 4 inches of snow at work today. Some forecasts are calling for 6-8 inches of the lovely snow Friday overnight. Currently 4 degrees.

hope you all get on the mend, soon......

People are mean. I got my feelings hurt today :( A FB friend posted about how he was feeling really horrible and had all the symptoms of the flu....but his flu test was neg. and I simply pointed out that there are a LOT of false negatives.....I got reemed for that. How hateful can you be? Really? I was attempting to help. I won't next time, and told him so. People are SO mean!!! And I am too sensitive :/ That really hurt my feelings though. He acted as if I wanted him to have the dang flu?! I apologized(though I probably should NOT have), and just took the post down and said I was sorry he was feeling ill....and I probably should not have done that either actually, but I can be the bigger person with the better attitude. *sigh*

Anyway, got taxes done today. Glad to have that over with for another year. DD is feeling a bit better, and DH doesn't have it...at least not yet...the nut forgot to take his meds, and THAT is why he was so groggy and feeling run down. Narcolepsy is such a weird disorder. Without the meds, he does actually have flu like symptoms...but what great timing to "forget" huh? I hate when he gets sick!!!!!! He's such a baby :hide

I cooked most of the day. Kid wanted chicken and dressing, so chicken and dressing she got, and she ate like a lil pig :D She is feeling some better. Me and hubs, apparently, haven't gotten it YET...I won't say we haven't gotten it, bc I don't know the incubation period, but we have no symptoms thus far at least. I also made bread and a peach cobbler so hubs would shut up about peach cobbler for a lil bit  He has ya know...mentioned peach cobbler...asked about peach cobbler....asked if I bought peaches for peach cobbler...asked what's in a peach cobbler.......sighed and mentioned how good a peach cobbler would be...asked if i would maybe think about making a peach cobbler for dessert... for like ummmm about two weeks. So YES, he got a peach cobbler!!! And he ate half of it himself.

So, that was my day. Other than tending the seedlings, and fold a load of nice crunchy towels...I didn't do much else.
