BTW, WBF, what exactly is a "whine bag" ?????
Oh that's just an old whiney nagging kid...ya know when they are so distraught and you go to pick them up and they are just limp? Like a bag of potatoes...I made DD laugh one time with that, and now we call them whine bags :p

And here I thought you put an h in wine. I was thinking it was that cheap wine that comes in a bag inside of a cardboard box.

I dunno where it came from other than me calling DD that and she cracked up laughing then. She was little and it was hillarious. I always loved making them laugh when they were crying. Then they do that trying not to laugh and it's funny to watch them actually TRY to keep crying and they can't do it...utter defeat. Poor kids :D

Jamie

I had a wonderful day! Sold a dozen hatching eggs and got rid of a rooster. FOUND a buck for a good price! I got the backyard cleaned up and coop bedding stirred and actually enjoyed some NICE weather! 73 degrees today!! It was beautiful!

The buckling is about 3 months old and he sure is a pretty boy! He is not registered, which is perfect, because that makes the price right :D He should be delivered tomorrow or the next day. Spud will be put on CL the end of next week to find a new home. He'll be 6 weeks old then.

I found all my shovels rakes and pitchfork and put them up...DH leaves everything out

The chickens are laying well again...the goats had them off for a couple days but they were back up to normal today. A couple of them took several days off. Any little change......

Anyway I have another dozen hatching eggs to ship Monday. Glad my girls are making a bit of money again :) Here in a couple weeks I have 5 chickens to deliver to a friend too. My flock is declining to make room for ME to hatch some more! :D :D :D

Speaking of....I sure hope my turkeys do better this year! The ducks still aren't laying, but it is close to time for them to start. Maybe I can slip some turkey eggs under them :D

When Spud gets sold I am going to start milking too.

Garden plan is coming along (Jamie!) and I hope to finalize everything by the end of next week. I am starting some onions, broccoli, and carrots in the next couple days. Oh....and potatoes, I almost forgot those :th I have to pick up some seed potatoes tomorrow! Don't let me forget!

That's my day on the farm...lotsa plans, some actions taking place, and I might have half of it figured out :p
