About 15 miles west of my hometown got hit hard yesterday. They have schools closed already for tomorrow all over that county. Family is fine, but wow. We dodged a bullet here.

We were supposed to get it here, but the cold air and the rain just didn't get it together. The cold air came after the rain was over. So now it is just booty kickin cold. Pneumonia weather. In the 70's 3 or 4 days ago, rained hard, then it dropped to like 2 degrees last night according to our thermometer.

I got the fish tank cleaned today and 4 gallons of laundry soap made.....and that's about it. SOOO not productive today

Blehhh me thinks I am comin down with something. I have been tired all day and dizzy and headachy and queasy and a wee bit grouchy...nevermind what DH says I have just been a wee bit grouchy I hope this is GONE tomorrow! Now I think I am going to pray about it and forcefeed myself another meal..YUMMM tacos

DD looks like she has been slapped across the face... She went to the doctor for her burn after the second time. The doctor gave her some cream for her dry skin issues(eczema) on her legs and arms....she thought it was for her tiny bit of pimples on her face because she didn't LISTEN at the doctors office. It is steroidal and you are supposed to put a very thin layer per instructions...so DD desperate to get rid of a few really small barely noticeable pimples does what? SLATHERS it on!!!!!!

That was Thursday morning.....

It looks like chemical burn/severe sunburn on her face. Genius! At least now ya can't see those itty bitty barely existant pimples. She got made fun of at school over her "glow" and I made her take some of her allergy meds and now she's a grump Brought it on herself :/

Anybody know if this would actually hurt her? It doesn't seem to be getting much better. Maybe even getting worse

Take solace in the fact that you just put my day into a new perspective.

The eldest has a choir contest tomorrow, she's really going out of her comfort zone. I am so proud of her.

Well she IS accident prone/inattentive...I tried to tell ya she is BAD! I'm really more aggravated about it than concerned...she did it to herself, and well she has GOT TO start paying attention!!! Her grandparents don't think she has an attention problem....uh...okay!

AW that is cool I am proud of her too! I never could get my eldest to come out of her shell and do things she was good at in front of anybody...most times, not even her own daddy!!

"Cast-boy" tripped down the last two steps this morning on his way from his room to the kitchen. "What happened?" "Uh, I wasn't paying attention".... yeah, we kinda figured that part out...
