Im sorry, she's not for sale. I might have to put her on back order. The funny thing is that she dont do things by the book and it usually comes out much better. She has came up with her own times for the veggies we can. She also makes the BEST vegetable soup anyone could have.

On BYC there is a thread on whether or not God wants us to be happy. I think he does, and most appear to agree, though some do not follow the same faith as I, and some don't even believe there is a God. Our circumstances, no matter what course upon which our life begins or ends, are crucial to not only our happiness, but our definition of happiness. When I was a child I was extremely UNhappy, but the course my life has taken since getting our of the circumstance I was born into, has been mostly happiness and contentment. If not for those first truly unhappy years though, I wonder if I could be truly happy now, and would I even know the potential of happiness? I look at some folks and wonder if the same applies to them, some worse off than I, some better off. It's human to compare ourselves to others. Here is a lady I admire who started out almost not starting out at all. Can you imagine being hated before folks even know you? Yet, she seems very much happy, even about her circumstance, which most of us can not even begin to fathom. Her story...

I remember seeing that name on there! And yes, God does want us to be happy. Just read the Beatitudes and instead of reading it as blessed, read it as oh the happiness.

Totally agree! I can find several verses that elude to Him wanting our happiness WHILE we serve ;)

Just letting you know that I am going to back track on your journal a bit when I have time. I don't read alot of journals, (consisitently) but I have alwasy been interested in the languages used in the bible, and the true meanings of scripture as they relat/translate to the original language used. Beth Moore gets into the origninal languages quite a bit, and it is so helpful.
