What? She has a tent and a sleeping bag...maybe I should just leave the brat with that for a while. She makes me SO SO SO MAD!!! She's lucky she isn't here tonight. She would NOT have talked to me that way in person. ONLY around her stinkin grandparents It'll take a month to get her back to normal...which isn't much better, but still....

At least my in-laws see it my way most of the time, that is a blessing.

Then she doesn't go over. Your her parent, not them. Just because they want the precious little grand daughter over all the time, doesn't mean you have to let it happen. It's more than the daughter that's spoiled, sounds like they are too! Next time, they come for the visit.

In our 10 years of marriage they have been inside this house 3 times INCLUDING the 8 years they lived across the street from us Sounds like a winner According to them I am NOT the parent. only DH is, but I have took care of these kids for 10 years dang it...they're as much mine as anybody else's. Yeah. It's in full throttle mode here. MIL actually sent the eldest home early once not too long ago.

I'm tired of the all the kids her age are like that. It's a cop-out. There's a big difference between being mean and not being a push-over.

I know...GOOD parents are MEANIES!!!! My mom was mean as a rattle snake when I was that dumb I still got my butt beat for talking to my parents the way she talked to me. She's so lucky. if I did her the way my parents did me when I got too "uppity" I'd have been in jail years ago
