TABASCO PEPPERS :woot

Squash gone wild, gotta spray them some for bugs, but otherwise healthy!

Last but certainly not least...tomatoes finishing up turning on the window sill before processing in the dehydrator :drool Yes, they ARE as delicious as they look!!!

The tomatoes are starting to get holes in them...found the culprit though. Anybody know what to do about a grasshopper infestation?! I have been cutting the bad parts out, but it really gets on my nerves :/ They're just tiny spots, but on an otherwise unblemished tomato they are hideous :( I am proud of my purty tomatoes this year, and I want the grasshoppers to get LOST!!

I've never known anyone who wants someone else to help them to turn their lives around actually do it. Bil wanted us to help him so we got him out of jail and gave him a place to live and what did he do? Got high and assaulted a police officer and ran. No one saw him for weeks after that. All of that happened the day after he told us how he was going to start going to church and had found a job and was going"to turn his life around". Maybe there have actually been people to help others with drug problems without getting burned, but I don't know any. Oh and eat the chicken!

BTW Your garden sounds like mine. It started off great then flopped. I had 3 grown producing squash plants die and several squash rot before they were ready to be picked. I've only gotten a few tomatoes and my cabbage are under attack. I'm going to replant in the fall too

Edited- never mind yours is way better and bigger than mine!

nothing exciting, just laundry soap.

Broody Buff has one baby. ONE out of 8 eggs, and she is still sitting on one other egg. Dunno how it'll turn out. :hu

DD made me mad messing with her. Went out to check and took her off the nest OFF the baby that had just hatched and left her. :barnie When I confronted her she got all smart mouthy and said well I take care of them too!! So I went and got her darn snake and put it out in the grass without her permission to show her how it feels to have your animal messed with without your knowledge :somad She's out looking for the snake now :smack All upset...boo hoo. One day she'll learn maybe to leave stuff alone that doesn't belong to her. She just insists on doing whatever she wants. :rant

Anyway, the snake isn't far, but it will be if she messes with MY animals again without permission. If I hadn't went out there that chick would have been dead by morning too, along with the rest of them :/ WHY can't she just leave stuff ALONE!?!?
