Yeh, well I don't envy you the decision. I'm glad I'm mean and anti social and everyone knows this. I'd just say "no thanks" on the phone and be done LOL!!!

Wish I could offer sage advice but ... the only thing I can come up with is follow your heart. If you believe it would detract from your own immediate family, then don't do it. They may be split up in separate foster homes but that might be better for them.

Would love to take them in but I too am short on funds and time. And energy.

UGH cousin got her story twisted...as usual. It is 2 boys, one girl. Ages 9, 10 & 11. Girl is the 10 year old. I would not even THINK about doing this if it weren't for these being my uncles grandbabies and I know it is what he would want me to do. Still trying to find out a few things. Communication between them and the family HERE is sketchy at best. No idea what the mother and grandmother out there are thinking about all of this. Other than my cousin, said the mother wants me to try to get them, but who knows if that is even the truth being secondhand information. :barnie What a scrambled mess. Those poor kids :( They were living with their aunt, my other cousin, for the last while, but the mother had issue with that it seems...dunno what the real story is. They are crazy..mental issues abound  Seriously....the grandmother is nuts. I actually wonder why she isn't trying to get them. Most likely she can't. I dunno how all this junk works :hu

Wait. So the mom didn't know the age and gender of her kids?

Is she related to my mom?

Different cousin there  I dunno if the mom does either though :hu I hate that we don't know these children better, but they live 300+ miles away from us. *sigh* What to do?
